We went to where, yuugo was trapped when it dawned on me... "Guys... Can a human being survive 5 days without food or water?" I asked making them all look at me in confusion

"Doesn't the human body survive for about 2-4 days without water?" I asked again growing more fearful

"What are you talking about?" ray asked

"That man hasn't eaten or drank anything for the past 5 days..." I said making the others look at me in shocked understanding

We quickly bolted to where yuugo was bound, while I was saying "Please be dead. Please be dead. Please be dead."

"Why do you want him to be dead?! I know he's bad but hes not that bad!" emma shouted

"Because if I say please be dead. I might just jinx myself and he'll be alive." I said

"That's a dumb excuse for wanting someone to be ded." ray said

"No it's not! It's a scientific fact that you wish for something, you might have a chance of jinxing yourself." I said

"Harley, I love you and all but I think your confusing science and superstition." norman said

"Just wait and I'll prove you all wrong." I said

When we arrived at the room, we saw yuugo still bound to the table looking at us in annoyance

"Yo." he said trying to wave his hand hello

"What did I tell you?! He's still alive." I said looking smug at the incoming trio

"That doesn't prove anything." ray said

"On the contrary. It proves that I was right and you were wrong." I said with an even more smugness of a smile

"You guys talk to him while I go get some food and water for the horrible smelling man." I said

"I actually smell amazing, thank you very much, squirt." he said with a scoff

I went outside and saw everyone waiting by the door. I turned to where gilda was and asked "Can you help me get a pitcher and a glass of water for the man while I get some food for him?"

She just nods and said "Okay." as we went to get the items together and back

As we got back, I saw that yuugo was out from his bounded prison and was now leaning on a chair with his feet up on the table

We went over to him and placed the water and food on the table then I said "Here. You must be both thirsty and hungry."

He just looked at the food contemplating whether to eat it or not

Then emma started to say "It's not poisonous and it's not bad either. You know this soup is all made with the ingredients we brought ourselves. We're not a drain on your food supply. From now on, we'll make do with our own food sources. As for water, energy and space... We'll make sure to keep our use to a minimum."

"You think after all of that, you still get to stay in my shelter? Get out." yuugo said

"Oh we will... When we get to meet minerva." emma said pulling out an open envelope

"You're no sucker that's for sure
and you've got a lot of experience looking for minerva. You know what this is right? We found it opened. You guys must have tried to search for him, too, just like the letter said... Even though you gave up. We want to try looking for him and we want you to be our guide and bodyguard."

"In your dreams! Why the hell should I care about you guys trying to find that man? Get outta my shelter." yuugo said

"I already told you! If we manage to find minerva and return back safely... We're leaving the shelter at once, then. All of us."

Yuugo sighed then said "So that's your deal, huh? And with this crappy offer, you expect me to risk my life going out? To risk my life for a couple of ridiculous assclowns? Don't make me laugh, kid."

"Well, you want us to leave, right?" emma asked

"Yeah... But it's a lot easier to just kill you all here." yuugo said pulling me over to him and putting the knife close to my neck

I sighed and said "Should have seen that coming."

"You're going down first. Sorry kid but when I make up my mind, I don't look back." yuugo said as he pushed the knife even closer

Ray pulled out a gun making yuugo smile and said "You sure about that? Pull that trigger and you'll lose your only guide and bodyguard. Face it! You need me dontcha."

"Oh! I'm not killing you. I'm just giving it back." ray said as he slides the gun on the table over to yuugo

"I-Is it loaded?" don asked frantically

"No... But this is." norman said as he pulled out a detonator making me whistle at what he said

"I see you finally have a grasp on the situation... It's not your life on the table." emma said

Yuugo looked at us as if we were insane in the head which... we kinda maybe are?... Either way emma already said her proposiitions

"Fine... If you want to throw your lives away and die then be my guest." yuugo said scratching the back of his head

"Don't let them die mister." one of the kids cried out as he was hugging ray's leg

"Shut up!" he shouted

"Can you let me go now?" I asked with my arms crossed

He didn't say anything but let's me go. I went over to where emma was then emma said "Let's staet over. My name's emma. What's your name?"

"I didn't ask for your name and I'm sure as hell, I aint telling you mine, antenna." yuugo said as he was heading out of the room

"See ya later, fuck boy." I said waving goodbye

"Did he just called me antenna?" emma asked as she continued to look at the door

"Yeah and everyone should get used to it. He's going to call us by nicknames from now on." I said

I looked over to norman and asked
"When did you guys do all of this?"

"When you we're busy stabilizing our food, water and energy problems. We found coordinates in the letter and information about the current world." norman said

"Can J read the book?" I asked

"Sure." he said with a smile

"Thanks... So anyways, do you guys know where mama is?" I asked looking around

-Meanwhile-

As I saw that man left the room, I waited for him to enter another one

I went to where he went and opened the door as I looked inside and knocked

"What the fuck do you want now?" he said annoyed to which I just smiled and said "I just wanted to tell you that even though those kids hadn't planned yet on who were going. I could already tell there will be 3 of them going. Even though I don't want them to go, I trust them that they will come back alive. So here's what I want you to do... I want you to bring those 3 kids back here alive." I said with a smile

"And why should I do that?" he scoffed, making me giggle and said "Unlike you, I killed a lot of people. I survive at the farms because of that. Don't think I won't do it again. Hope we came to an agreement." I said leaving the poor man sweating and looking at me with fear

I went back over to where the children were. I opened the door and was greeted by "Mama, we were looking for you. Where have you been?"

"Oh just doing some mama things, don't worry about it."
