A Bender In Neverland

Goldy Pond

As I was parkouring my way from tree branch to tree branch, chopping off demon head as I go while using ice to kill those who are far away for me to hack and slash

I was ahead from the group since I wanted them to be relatively safe while crossing the demon infested part of the forest

-Timeskip-

It's been 3 days of traveling, only a day to go left. As I was busy killing the majority of the demons, my clothes that were once blue in color, were now dyed in dirt and blood. My eyes can barely stay open. My body is tired as a neet talking their first walk outside. I smell like shit from all the running, dirt and blood. And yet I feel like I was high as the moon itself

We finally found a place to rest. We didn't get much last night since demons raided our camp

I have to thank emma later since she wanted to help yuugo with his grief and shit

Emma was preaching! I looked at yuugo as I was listening on what emma was preaching and to say the power of friendship is powerful

'My little pony was actually right... Goddamn, emma has talk no jutsu.' I thought to myself as I watched as yuugo had a revelation

I got up from my spot up in the tree and jumped down on emma

Aa I landed on emma, she looked at me in shock and asked "Harley?! What are you doing?"

I didn't answer and I heard, ray shout out "Emma! Harley! Look out!"

Then I blacked out

As I slowly gained consciousness, I looked around the surrounding area and saw emma knocked out next to me and the empty town of goldy pond

I lay back down on the soft patch of grass, wanting to get a bit more rest in

Until I heard someone groan next to me, I turned my head to the side and saw emma slowly waking up

I watched her as she sat up, rubbed her eyes then looked around

"Where am I?" she said to herself

"Goldy pond." I said as I looked up at the blue sky

"Harley?"

"Where at goldy pond, sunny. I'm going back to sleep." I said as I closed my eyes

"Wait! You can sleep once we finish looking around."

"Ugh! Fine... My couch potato ass can't handle this much exercise!" I grumbled

I sat up and stretched for a bit then emma asked "How did we get here?"

"To be honest... I don't know. All I know is that you were going to be taken here, so I hoped on your back to join you and it seems my plan worked." I said

"Do you know where the others are?" she asked

"Maybe outside of goldy pond...? To be honest I really have little knowledge of getting in and out here. Hehehehe...." I said

"So we really are at goldy pond...?" emma said looking around

"Yup and before you asked no I don't know where the people are at." I said

"There are people here?" emma asked

"Yup but I don't know where they are though." I said

"Then let's go find them." emma said grabbing my hand then leading me away

"Sure... Like I had a choice anyway." I whispered

As we walked through the ghost but a lovely town. Looking through the windows of the house and any alleys we came across, we followed the path for a while until we saw a human

"A human!" emma exclaimed then ran off after the silhoutte

"Emma, wait up!" I shouted as I chased after her

"Wait!" I heard emma shout, then sped up leaving me with the dust

I huffed and said to myself "I swear to any god whose listening, when I get my hands on her, I will drown her for making me run this much and torture yuugo for making me run even more before."

As I saw emma finally stopped, I walked over to her and started gasping for air "Emma... I'm gonna... Kill you..."

"Music. Monsters. Survive." I heard emma said

I looked up and saw emma looking at a wooden board

She looked at me and asked "What does this mean and why are you more tired than me?"

"The board means when the music starts to play, demons come out and hunt us and all we have to do is survive until the musoc ends and why I'm more tired than you is that I hardly got any sleep these past 3 days from fighting demons and running. Got all that?" I said

Before emma could reply, the speaker started playing creepy cheerful music loudly, making us cup our ears

Then a human appeared and said "The monsters are coming. You two better hide fast. Whenever the music plays, they'll appear soon after... Wealthy man eaters come for the cattle they raise free range. Goldy pond, this place is a playground for man hunters. A park to indulge in their most primal instinct. A top secret hunting ground."

-Meanwhile-

"Well then, esteemed friends! What shall be your sport today?"

"Something marbled... More fat than muscle."

"Then... The white one with brown hair, around 14 years old."

"I just wanna mow down the weaklings."

"Anything's fine as long as I have a good time."

"How about you, arch duke lewis?"

"Me? I'm still searching for the same kind of prey as I always do. A very strong human who fights back, with the eyes of a killer. Although... As of late, I've been remarkably remiss about it.

"Then shall we start the fun, everyone?"

Majority of the demons in attendance gave some sort of response while the others were silent

-Back to our hero-

"What do you mean, a secret hunting ground? Tell us!" emma shouted

"It's in the name, emma. No need to shout at the poor boy, girl or etc."

"What's that supposed, harley?" emma asked

"Gender equality." I said giving her a thumbs up
