'Another one, just died in this hell hole...' I thought as I looked at the rotting body of a kid, the demons are probably going to be here soon to dispose of it

I sighed as I looked at the locked door in front of me, waiting... As time goes by, I start to get confused

'Where are they?' I thought as they normally would have been here by now

The kids here were just as confused as I am. As time went by nobody, not a single demon or scientist came

Next thing I know, loud sirens could be heard outside. The heavy footsteps and people shouting could be heard as well

Everyone was starting to panic, fearing for their lives. The older kids tried calming the younger ones but they too were terrified

The door started to open which made most of the kids gasp in horror. But much to everyone's surprise there stood a woman holding a gun

She looked at us and said "Is everyone alright? We're here to rescue you!"

I looked behind me to see, everyone was skeptical. I turned to the woman holding out her hand, I looked at it thinking what to do but subconsciously grabbing it

She gripped my hand tight, startling me. I looked up and saw her smiling at me

I couldn't help but trust the woman... I turned to the kids and said "Let's go!"

We followed her through, hallway after hallway. Shouting and gun fire could be heard, echoing through the halls

We were running for sometime now, and miraculously haven't encountered any demons or scientists yet but screams were heard shouting for help or mercy

We continued our way through the building until we ran across a crossroad the ones in front of us were littered with bodies

We looked at the scene in front of us in horror, refusing to move due to fear

The woman continued to make her way but stopped once she looked back, seeing us not moving an inch

She gave us a loving smile. A smile I knew all to well

The same smile the one who raised me gave to us... Her children

"Your one of them aren't you?" I asked

She looked at me shocked and said "I used to be... But not anymore. Now, I want to live with my children, free from the fear the demons had put on us for years."

Her face filled with determination as she held out her hand and said "But to do that we need to take action, so will you help us in achieving our goal? To be free from the demons clutches! To not be afraid of trying to stay alive! Follow me and you will be free from this facility, so please. Trust me."

I felt a hand on my shoulder, I turned around to see it was cassandra, who gave a smile and a nod

I smiled then turned back to the woman and with a look of determination gave her a nod to which she smiled and said "Then let's go!"

We continued to run until we ran into some other kids who were holding guns

"We managed to take control of the facility, mama." she said then saw us and smiled

"Hi! I'm Emma, what's your name?" She asked with a smile

"I'm Vincent."
