A Chat With Ray

After all of us were finished eating. Ray and I waited for them to put all the dishes in the sink before starting to clean

As the kids started to leave the room in groups, the oldest went up to us and said to meet us in the forest after the test

As we see them leave the room, leaving only the two of us behind

I looked over to ray and said "Ray?..."

"Yeah?" he side glanced at me

"... Was it hard?" I asked walking to the sink filled with dirty dishes

"What do you mean?" he asked looking at me all confused

"Being mama's spy and all." I said opening the sink then doing the dishes

"Are you telling me I'm the spy?" he asked looking at me seriously

"Did I stutter?." I asked not looking away from my task at hand

I then heard ray starting to laugh. I washed my hands from all the soap then closed the sink, as I was doing all that he was still laughing like an idiot

I turned around to look at him and saw one of his hand was holding his stomach and the other his eye that was hidden from his bangs

I sighed and said "You done laughing your fake ass laugh? Cause if you continue people will get really suspicious at you laughing, you know?"

He stopped laughing and composed himself then asked with a smile "Did norman tell you?"

"Nope!" I said popping the p

I started walking towards him then said "I aint dumb rayray. You might have fooled those two but not me with that shitty acting."

"Demons? Farms? Mama's an enemy? Arent we screwed?" I said in a funny voice

"Next time you wanna act shocked be totally afraid, okay?" I said with a closed eye smile as I tilt my head to the side

He chuckled and said "You got me. I'm the spy. What are you going to do now? Tell norman and emma about me?"

I looked at his eyes and said with a smile "Nope! Their gonna figure it out sooner or later. I just wanna talk to you alone."

"So that's why you made a scene at breakfast." he said

"Kinda... I just woke up, wanting to be in my pajamas for the whole day and about the words I said to the kids... It was just a slip of the tongue and then I thought 'I'm already in trouble as it is why not get ray in on the fun and maybe get some alone time to have a bit of a chat' I guess." I explained

"Well here we are... Alone, so let's talk." ray said with that insane smile of his

"Not that kind of talk stupid. You and norman can talk about that later. No, what I want to talk about what you are going through." I said

He scoffed and said "About what? My feelings?"

"Yes exactly like your feelings." I said with a smile

He started walking to a seat and asked "What's there to talk about?" then he sat down

I sat at an empty seat next to him and said "Many things. Like how's your day been?"

"It was going great until you roped me in on your bullshit." he said with a blank face

I giggled at his answer and said with a smile "Oh come on~ It was funny. I even proved you are a liar."
