To The New Base

--- Lambda (Vincent's POV) ---

The girl named Emma, was covered in blood and yet she can smile as if she was innocent from all sin

"Is that everyone?" She asked looking at all of us gathered

"No, there's still others who are in a separate floor or rooms. We've been grouped up based on how far we have come from their experimentation." I said

Emma nodded her head and said "We'll keep looking, the rest of you go and get out of here."

Then the woman named Isabella smiled and said "Follow me."

We used the fire exits to make our escape due to it being easier with this amount of kids escaping

Our pace was slowing down because some of the kids were getting tired from all the flights of stairs we had to climb

But we still pushed on, knowing freedom was right at our finger tips

We kept on moving forward as we passed each floor, we could hear screams from the other side

As we reached the top, we heard someone call out "Mama! Everything is ready, we're only waiting on, Emma and the others left." a boy with black hair came over running to us

"Where's Harley?" Isabella asked

"She's getting everything set up." the boy said

"Good, take these kids outside with the others, I'll go find Harley." Isabella said

"Kay, let's go." The boy said

But before we could make our way, some kids came running over to us screaming "RAY! RAY!"

"What?!" The boy named Ray asked in worry

"Cars! Cars are arriving!" The kids said in a panic

"Damn! It must have been the sirens. Where are the others?!" Isabella asked

"The others are holding out at the door. There are around a hundred of them fully geared, with more arriving!"

"We're trapped." Ray said looking at Isabella

Everyone was starting to panic at the situation

Then we heard footsteps coming from the stairs, Isabella went to check who it was

Only to be met with the oranged head girl herself with the others behind her

"What's going on?" Emma asked

"Back up has arrived trapping us inside Lambda." Ray said

"Where's Harley? I thought she used the elevator and was with you guys." A white haired boy said

"No one used the elevator and Harley isn't with us, I thought she was with you." Ray said

"Guys!" We heard someone call out

We saw a green haired girl waving her arms to get our attention

"What's the situation, Gilda?" Isabella said

"The other's took care of it! Harley came in later and fogged up the air so we could make our escape! Hurry up, we need to go now before more of them arrive!" Gilda said

-- Flashback (Narrator's POV) --

We see Isabella's group assessing the situation on hand as well as the other older kids were calming the others down

We see the elevator doors open to see Harley without a care in the world exit and saw Mama's group doing their thing, seeing as she knew that every floor was cleared she made her way to the exit doors

When she arrived the fighting was over but the enemy back up was going to arrive soon from the intel they got from the dead soldier's walkie talkie

Harley quickly fogged up the place so they cpuld make their escape to their brand new base, onky problem was the others weren't there yet

As each time passes, the group became more and more on edge as they could here engines from the distance

(Harley's POV)

"Where are they? They should have been here by now." I said getting anxious as the sound of engines roaring in the distance came closer

Wishing that the fog she made would be enough to at least slow them down

"Everyone!" I heard someone call out

Thank the stars, it was Gilda with the others

"Took you long enough." I said as Ray, Emma and Norman stood by

"Yeah Yeah Yeah, you can tell us that you miss us later when we're safe." Emma said with a smile

"Tsk, damn ginger head." I said to myself in a whisper

"It's orange thank you very much." Emma said with a huff

"Let's just go already." Norman said after everyone was finally accounted for

We quickly made our escape through the fog, making sure that no one got lost in it. All the while, I made sure that the cars would have a hard time traversing this place using the roots of the trees

"Now, where to?" Ray asked

Before I could say anything we heard someone say "I think I can help with that."
