*Your POV*

You were sitting at the kitchen counter over a bowl of breakfast porridge and fruit. You weren't too busy in terms of schedules, but you would have to make a trip to the office and sort out some admin work as well as pick up a delivery of supplies.

While you were eating, you spent the time reading the news like any normal morning, but you had recently taken notice of a situation that was developing in China. You'd read about global pandemics in the past, especially in school as part of your classes, so you were familiar with the ins and outs of how they worked. This week, the first few cases of this new virus had made its way out of China and across oceans to the Americas and Europe, and the number of cases were slowly rising here in South Korea. But nothing official had been done besides advising people to wear masks when they go out and washing hands as often as possible.

Thankfully for artists and performers, they already wear masks when they go out to protect their identities, so that part was already covered. Life was pretty much still somewhat normal, but you knew that things could only get worse from here, not in a pessimistic way but as a realist and someone knowledgeable on the topic.

Still, life went on, and you continued being the manager of TWICE. So while the girls did their jobs as performers and artists, you tried as much as you could to prepare for whatever might be coming.

"Whatcha eatin'?" Mina asked as she walked down from her room.

"Mornin'. Just the usual fruit porridge." You greeted the sleepy Mina back.

"Meh. Do we have any of that bread left?" She mumble-asked, pulling out the jar of jam from the fridge.

"Probably, I didn't look."

"Great, there's 1 slice left." Mina angrily grumbled as she held up the bag with the single slice in it.

"Don't look at me, you know I never go after your bread." You said, putting your hands up defensively. "Do you want me to get some on my way back?"

*sigh* "Sure." She returned, defeated at the lack of available bread.

"Did you want anything else? Maybe make something with that slice of bread?" You offered.

"I don't care, all I wanted was to open the new fancy jam we got." She dramatically flopped on the table.

"Aish, come on." You said, playfully hitting her with a spatula before grabbing the bag from her hands. "How about I turn it into French toast or something?"

After she made some undistinguishable sound, you went ahead and started cooking anyway. While you were working on soaking the toast in the eggy mixture, Mina had managed to start scrolling through your phone, which wasn't really something out of the ordinary. She was one of the few people in the house you'd trust on your phone after all.

"Something come in on my phone?" You asked, looking back from the stove.

"Nah, just wondering what you were reading." She replied, holding the screen towards you which was still on the news app.

While you made yourself busy on the single slice of fancified French toast, the rest of the members eventually made their way downstairs to start their days. After getting into the same discussion about the lack of bread with both Sana and Dahyun when they both arrived in the kitchen, after about an hour of tired idols filtering down from upstairs, everyone was accounted for and awake in some form.

Eventually, it was time to leave the dorm and go to the offices to start your workday. But with the way scheduling worked out today, you would be taking public transport to the office and then driving an artist van back home.
