A/N: for the final time, we begin outside of the JYPe building after finding out about TWICE and still disconnected from the world, similar to how the last couple of endings began.

==========

*Your POV*

Never had you felt so down when leaving the JYPe building. Usually, walking through these doors meant that you were returning home after a long day at work to some of your closest friends, but that would not be happening today. With no home and no "family" to return to, this trip back out would be this most depressing one yet.

While you wanted to linger and reminisce about your time at JYP for a bit longer, with it being November it was quite nippy outside. And since you were dressed in the fairly light civilian clothing you had with you, there was little time standing around and more moving towards your car with heating in it. With an oomph, you sank into your seat, basking in the warm air that blew out of the air vents, rubbing your hands together to warm up even more.

You now had some time to contemplate your next move, but before you could think about it any further, your stomach decided for you. Since you only had a light meal on base before you left, you were now fairly peckish, and with your mind now on food, that was all you could think about. Of course even though you knew well enough that there were other things that needed to be addressed, the idea of civilian food sounded really good, so you left the parking garage in search of said glorious food.

After you pulled out onto the main road, with it being late autumn and later in the afternoon, the sun was directly in your eyes. So to block it, you pulled down the sun visor on your car, but didn't realise that you had some papers stored inside it, as they all fell into your lap. Slightly startled at the sudden discovery, you took the opportunity at the next stop light to sort it out.

It wasn't too many pieces of paper, and nothing too large, mainly still like old parking garage tickets and receipts. But there was one tiny piece of paper that caught your attention: a loyalty stamp card for Paris Baguette. Wanting to go on that nostalgia trip that was cut short due to the weather, you decided to visit one specific branch of the bakery chain, one that you always went to and meant something extra for you and your family.

Luckily, that was not too far out of the way, so after taking a few turns and dealing with minimal traffic, you arrived at the closest parking lot by the bakery. And even luckier, what you saw was a brand new cellphone store that had just opened up right next door, letting you coincidentally kill two birds with one stone by getting you back online.

Unfortunately, due to it being a new store and approaching the Christmas season, the store was fairly busy. Not so busy where there was a queue going out of the door, but busy enough where all of the store workers were busy with a customer. You were more than happy to wait, so you just lingered around where the new phones display was, looking at all of the new devices until it was your turn to be helped.

"Hello! Thank you for waiting." An associate walked up to you after a few minutes of browsing. "How can I help you?"

"I need to reactivate my phone." You said, pulling out your phone from your pocket.

"Sure thing, but one quick question. When did you buy your current device?" She suddenly asked.

"Gosh, a while ago... At least 3 and a half years ago now?"

"Do you know if you have received a letter in the last 18 months about a recall?"

"No idea, I was away for mandatory service for the last 2+ years."

"Gotcha. Well we can take a look and see if your device needs to be repaired or replaced, if you would like."

"How about we just replace it today? I'm feeling like treating myself a bit today." You said with slight embarrassment in your tone.
