A/N: this time, we're starting back right outside the JYPe building with Y/N still disconnected from the internet world and lost after the news of TWICE's disbandment, much like how Jeongyeon's ending began.

==========

*3rd Person POV*

Safe to say, this was not Y/N's night. Starting with the sudden announcement of his leave and the lovely and picturesque train ride back from Cheongju, everything after that was just a steady downhill slope. In the building where so many trainee's dreams were both made and crushed, Y/N's life much like a trainee who had just been rejected, came to a shuddering halt. By the time his shock had worn off and he returned to the world of the mentally stable, the sun was on the verge of setting, leaving the evening sky tinted a dull orange on an early summer night.

"Well, tonight just got real interesting..." Y/N muttered as he walked to his parked car, staring aimlessly up at the sunset sky.

This was quite the predicament that Y/N now faced. Because it was late enough in the evening, there was no way for Y/N to find any place to sleep for the night in the current state he was in: disconnected from the world. And there really wasn't any way for him to reconnect, as the stores would also be closed at this point. Typically, his parents would be a good option, but during his last call home, they had told him that they were moving into a smaller house since both him and Eunbi had moved out. That meant there was no way to track their new house down in his current state.

Now, he could gamble and just walk up to a hotel asking if they had any rooms open. But that could lead to just being turned away until the late hours of the night, forcing him to sleep in his car for the night. While he had done worse in the military during missions out in the wilderness, the last thing he wanted to do was sleep on a reclined car seat.

After taking a few moments of silent sitting in his car, he gave up on thinking for the moment and just went on a drive around town to see if anything caught his attention or he had a sudden brainwave.

Driving through the evening streets of Seoul, the passing streetlights and lit up buildings paired up with the soft classical music that was playing on the radio provided for a strangely cinematic several minutes for Y/N. Seeing everything that was once so familiar to him feel so foreign really brought home just how much had changed while he was away. With how he would take several curious glances at pretty much everything around him, it was a miracle that he didn't crash into anything.

However, these borderline dangerous glances proved to be fortuitous because on one street corner nearer the university campus, he caught what looked like a PC Bang of sorts, but not quite like the ones he had seen before. This one reminded him more of what manga cafes looked like in Japan, with a section dedicated to computers, bookshelves in the back of the store, and on-site facilities to eat and shower.

With nothing else to lose, Y/N found the next possible place to turn around and head in that store's direction. After faffing with finding a parking garage nearby, Y/N was able to walk over to the mysterious super PC Bang store with his manager's backpack in hand. Any hesitation about what he was walking into immediately switched to amazement when he saw what he had walked into, because it really felt like he had been teleported back to Japan.

While the writing he could see everywhere was written in hangul, it really did look like just a Japanese internet café that had been translated. Right across from the reception counter was what looked like a small cafeteria and lounge space, equipped with drinks machines and vending machines that served simple meals. And according to the map that was conveniently placed on the wall next to you, the building was 4 stories tall, with each floor dedicated to a purpose, like computers, reading, viewing rooms for films and shows, and most importantly, small rental rooms.
