(Flashback)

I bought the all the medicines and necessities. When I entered, the first thing I did was staring at my lifeless sister. She was wrapped with lots of bandages, her legs were hung upwards. She had't opened her eyes yet. Somya was worried and feeling helpless.

I walked in,"Have you seen mom and dad ?"I asked Somya. She shook her head,"they said they are leaving." she wiped her tears. "What ? Why ?"

She sniffled,"th-they said they don't want to look at this disgrace child face. They also said if possible leave her somewhere at footpath." I clenched my jaw and fists. "I can't believe they said that. How can they be so mean to their own child, Abhimaan ? It's not like it was her fault." we heard huffing sounds.

We saw noticed Arushi's eyes were open, oh god, I hope she didn't hear us. She started becoming breathless. I shouted for doctor. Doctor came running with nurses behind him.

"She got a panic attack. If you say then I can call any psychiatrist. I think the incident has also affected her mind."we agreed, next day a psychiatrist came. He checked and he too said that same thing. The incident had effected her brain which she couldn't forget. She could keep getting panic disorders as in many case it's normal after this kind of accidents.

He also said she need to overcome of the fear as soon as possible cause it will affect her body and there are also many chances of brain problems. He also said she had many chances of different diseases because of taking a lot of tension. Like diabetes, many heart diseases or might be slip into depression which was really dangerous.

I felt like someone had stabbed me. It was mid night when I saw Arushi shivering and trying to say something. I pat her head,"What is wrong, princess ?" she pointed at the corner. I raised an eyebrow,"darkness ? You afraid af dark ?" her tears started flowing she became breathless.

I switched on the light of the corner, after when we didn't able to calm her, I called the doctor. He taught us few tricks to help her while she get panic attack.

"Did the police got the people ?" I shook my head,"I asked them but they said they got no clue. It was perfectly planned." I pinched the bridge of my nose. "Somya, you go. You need to take rest." she shook her head,"No. Don't ask me to leave my Aru. I won't." She frowned and I knew she was at the verge to cry so I walked out. She doesn't like crying infront of people, that make her feel weak which I didn't want her to feel ever.

After two months, Arushi was fit enough to say goodbye to her bed rest. We tried to make her laugh but she never did. She was looking pale, her lips were lightly white. I wanted my bubbly and talkative sister back. That wasn't my sister, Arushi.

I put her in the wheelchair from Somya's help. "Now strong girl, stay strong always. Okay ?" the doctor tried to cheer up, a disappointing smile made its way to his lips. The nurses gave both of them sad and pity smile.

We reached our home back. All were in the living room. Their eyes snapped towards our direction. Their eyes lingered at Arushi, they scoffed and barged into their rooms. I noticed a drop of tear slid from Arushi's corner of eye. I kneeled infront of her and wiped it,"Let them hate you. I know they love you so do I and your bhabhi. Now they are behaving that way but you will see afterwards they will start calling you princess, cupcake and munchkin again."

"But you will always be my queen, remember that !" Raghu, my cousin said playfully smirking. I chuckled wishing Arushi to do the same. But she didn't. I sighed.

After a month,
Somya and I sat beside Arushi. She hadn't improved much but if she need something she point nervously or do something to make us realise what she wanted. Somya teared up,"STOP IT ARUSHI PLEASE. IT HAS LITERALLY BEEN THREE MONTHS. DON'T STAY SO SILENT,please," she cried. She basically pleaded. I saw Arushi's eyes welled up, she glanced at Somya who was crying her eyes out in between her palm.

Arushi trailed her hand near Somya. I watched her actions. "B-Bhabhi." a week fainted whisper left her lips. My mouth former a gap, Somya looked me with watery eyes,"She spoke."

"Say something again, princess." she opened her mouth but nothing came out but then,"b-bhai," she started coughing. We made her sit then she dranks some water. Her hands travelled to my hand. I let her do whatever she wanted, atleast she is doing something not lying like lifeless dead body.

She brought her body nearer and snuggled in my lap. My vision blurred,I took her properly in my arms and made her sit on my lap. She hugged me weekly.

Somya joined too and squeezed us. "S-sorry. I-I b-be me-an. I-I wa-wanted d-dad," she sobbed. That stupid man won't even come, asshole. I thought in my mind. We shouldn't say our parents this names but he deserves that.

"No need to be sorry sweetie. I love you. Bhai love you. You don't need anyone. Okay ? You are the best not mean, your dad is the one who is mean." I caught a glimpse of Arushi smiling very little at Somya's words.

"Here take your medicines." Somya gave her the medicines. She obeyed her and again laid back in my lap. "You stay with her," Somya mouthed me and walked out of the room. I leaned my back against the headboard of the bed and caressed her hair. "sleep, baby girl. Sleep." she yawned and closed her eyes. Soon enough I heard her soft and calm snores.

That night she again got nightmares but I successfully relaxed her.
