Everyone who were on our team felt grumpy that day. It was obvious that we were sad. First we lost the game, then the mean things the boys said to us. Or most of the boys said to us. My anger on Haneul eventually cooled down and I decided to apologize to her, formally. I brought some peach chocolates as they were her favorites and went over to her house.

'Hello,' someone who was probably her father said as I came in. 'Hi uncle. I am Haneul's friend, Hyerin, nice to meet you,' I said and bowed. 'Oh Haneul's friend? Welcome dear. She is upstairs.' I thanked him and went up the stairs and stopped in front of her room. What if she has one of those outbursts again? I will tolerate it.

I creaked open the door and saw her studying. 'Hey,' I said and placed the chocolates on her desk. 'What do you want?' she asked me, her eyes still on the math's textbook. 'I wanted to apologize to you. You were right. All along. Since the very beginning. I was dumb to not believe you. Can we be friends, again?' I asked her. She stayed quiet but after a few seconds she got up and threw her arms around my neck.

'I missed you bestie,' she said as she sniffled her nose. 'I missed you too,' I said and hugged her back. 'What happened?' she asked me as soon as we were on her bed, chatting. 'You know just the usual. Lee know broke my heart. And then I realized how right you were and how wrong I was,' I smiled. 'Tell me about it,' she said and rolled her eyes. 'But I think personally that he might have some feelings for Amanda. I mean, he never went back to any of the girls he slept with before but he is now supposedly dating her. I don't know, I think he is,' Haneul said. Ouch. I still was heartbroken. That definitely did not help.

'Oh I am sorry,' Haneul realized why I had that long face. 'It's okay. I have to move on someday,' I muttered under my breath. We chatted for another hour but then I got up to leave. 'Bye. You coming to school tomorrow right?' Haneul asked me. I nodded my head and said, 'How can I not? Midterms are starting from tomorrow.'

My phone kept ringing on my way back home. 'Hello?' I picked it up. 'Hello? Is this Hyerin? I am Ha-eun,' the girl on the other line said. I recognized her from my homeroom. 'Aaah,  Ha-eun? Yes I am Hyerin. Do you need something?' I asked her. 'Yes I thought maybe we could meet up. In the park? Just for ten minutes,' she said timidly. 'Yeah sure,' I replied and ended the call.

I was near the park anyway so that seemed like a fair choice. 'You are Hyerin, right?' Ha-eun came and took a seat beside me. She wore white clothes and her long silky hair rested on her shoulders. She had fair skin with a little tint of makeup on it. Main character vibes. The type of girl every guy would fall for.

'Yes Ha-eun. What can I do for you?' I asked and smiled. 'I know this is going to sound weird, but can you please give this to Felix?' she said and handed me a red gift bag. 'Uhhh why me?' I asked skeptically. 'Because you are the only girl he talks to in our school. If I approach him, he won't talk to me. Please can you give this to me?' she pleaded. 'What is in this?' I smiled teasingly and wiggled my eyebrows. 'Some chocolates and a letter. Can you give it to him?' she pleaded again. 'Sure,' I said and smiled although a part of me wanted to refuse. I don't know why. I am not dumb to not know that this was a love confession. And I was pretty sure I was sad on taking the bag and leaving.

I ringed his doorbell and waited. Come on dude, open up. I don't have all night. The door opened in a second as I straightened my posture. 'What do you want?' he asked me. 'To confess my love,' I made a poker face and handed him the bag. His eyes widened as he took the bag, his hands shaking. 'You are g-giving this to me,' he stuttered a little. 'No dumbass, why would I give you this? This is from Ha-eun. And this is from me,' I said and made a thumbs-up sign. 'All the best for tomorrow's exam,' I said and rushed into my house.

I woke up the next morning and had my breakfast. First exam. I have to do good. 'Bye oppa,' I yelled and ran out of my house. 'All the best,' he yelled back. 'Thanks,' I said again but I am skeptical if he might have heard it.

'Students. You all have two hours to complete your examination. Not one minute more. You may begin,' the teacher said as everyone started scribbling on their piece of paper. Oh my god. What is the the answer to this? Shit. I am sure I studied this. Oh my god. What am I going to do?

I pondered over a specific question for over fifteen minutes but could not think of the answer. I will come back to this later. The rest of the paper was easy but I still finished it just as the teacher snatched my paper away. I at least attempted all the questio--

Shit. Shit. Shit. I did not go back to that previous question. How many marks does it contain? I quickly glanced at the question paper and my mouth fell open. RIP my fifteen marks.

I went out of the classroom with a grumpy face. At this rate I won't even be on the top 10 let alone beat Felix. 'Why so grumpy?' Haneul asked as she slunged an arm over my shoulder. 'Tell me about it. I forgot to attempt a fifteen marks question,' I said and rolled my eyes. 'Is something bothering you? You dont seem that much into your studies anymore,' Haneul asked me. Maybe it was true. What was bothering me so much?

Just then I heard some whispers which were not really whispers but pretty loud.

Omo did you see Felix talking with Ha-eun over there?

They'd make such a cute couple right?

She is pretty, that's what's necessary.

Their conversation seemed to be really deep. Do you think everything is okay?

Of course. Felix is asking her to be his girlfriend? That's what's happening. Every guy her age has asked her over at least once....except Felix.

Oh right. I completely forgot about the bag I gave to Felix yesterday. Maybe that caused them to have such a deep conversation today. Maybe the rumors are right. They maybe are dating.
