7  years later---

Dear diary,

It's me, Hyerin. I am back after a couple of years. Many things have happened in this period of time. So, where should I start?

Let me start with Lee know. I guess he found his happy ending. He went to an Ivy League College after studying hard for a few days, and of course with his parent's money. Turns out that the Lee know, known around the school for his good looks and player personality had a crush. A crush where he was forced to change himself. I guess those things don't only happen in books. After being in a relationship for a few months, Lee know asked Amanda to be his fiancée. That was pleasant to watch. We all hoped Amanda to not be one of those gold digger types.

Turns out that she wasn't. Lee know never had a knack towards business and he never even thought of taking over his parent's business. After his marriage with Amanda, he took off all of his claim on his parent's business and studied hard to be a lawyer. Amanda was by his side all along which was a good thing.

Felix. Our relationship went through a lot of ups and downs in this period of seven years. We broke up several times, the main reason being that our colleges were thousands of miles apart and long distance relationship always doesn't work. But we did. Every time we made up, our bond became even stronger and we became inseparable. And we have been that for the last three years. He went to business school four years ago. I guess someone had to take over the business. He was a shoo-in in London business school because of his grades. I last met him over one and a half year ago but its okay.

Now me! Things weren't that good for me in grade 12 as my score and rank both dropped. But I still managed to go to Purdue University to pursue my dream of biotechnology. I graduated one and a half year ago and I am really successful right now.

Haneul...I haven't heard from her ever since that day at the locker. I still wear the watermelon necklace she gave me. It's nice to have something from her.

Felix and I live six thousand miles away, him in London while me in Indiana. The Atlantic ocean is keeping our continents  apart. He really wishes to see me but he is unable to. He is graduating tomorrow and I plan on surprising him.

                                                                                                 -END-

'Hey, when are you leaving for France?' mom asked me as soon as I picked up her call. 'Tomorrow morning. It hardly takes two hours,' I mumbled as I scribbled the report I got on a piece of paper. 'Yah listen. Aish, you should have told me earlier that you are going to meet Felix. Now listen, pack away the sweets I brought for you from Australia and Korea. Poor child must miss them. Take them to him,' she said and I could see her smiling.

'But mom those are for me,' I whined. 'Stop whining. Aren't you 24 now? My dear Felix needs them more than you. You should have told me that you were going to visit Felix, I would have brought something for him separately,' she complained. 'Okay okay I will take them for him.'

'Hello bub,' I called Lix the next day, just as I sat on the my seat in the flight. 'Hey,' he groaned. 'Are you not awake yet? It's already six am there,' I said as I adjusted my time to Paris's. 'Just getting up. I miss you. I would have loved if you came here on my graduation day but I know its's not possible,' he mumbled, still sleepy. 'Sorry. Now get up. Get ready. You are freaking graduating today. Bye, I'll call you in two hours,' I said as I smiled to myself. In a little more than two hours, I'll be there with him, supporting him on his great success.
