Reggie had been up for a while, as it was his turn to make breakfast for himself and Earl. "So yes, to Dragon egg or no to Dragon egg?" The snake nodded at the demon boy's question. Reggie cracked four eggs into the pan to let them cook. "Ding!" The toaster rang, popping four pieces of toast onto their plates. Once the eggs were cooked Reggie put them on the toast, one egg per toast. Earl set up the table before the two sat down to eat their morning meal.
They engaged in their typical morning conversations, asking how each other was feeling and of course about business. "Hissss?" "Yes, Earl I will get the orders from the human realm today so that they can be delivered in two." "Hiss?" Earl asked with an insinuating tone. "Yes, I was going to visit Luisa. I said that I would make her another drink and I think she would like a Unicorn punch. Or maybe she might want some food instead." Reggie then rambled about all the possible things he could make for the strong human. Earl laughed to himself. He was happy to see Reggie so excited and talkative. It made him feel at ease not having to worry about the demon boy.
