Chapter 27

"May party lahat ng senior, can you come with me?"

Gio and I are now here at the car, mayroon daw kaming lunch date kasama 'yung isa niyang friend, si Lisa. Never ko pa kasing nakilala 'yon dahil palagi raw busy. Gio invited Calynn pero sabi ni Calynn, baka raw ma-OP si Lisa kapag nandoon pa siya. Mas okay raw na magkakilala muna kami ni Lisa.

It's Gio's last year in law school. One more year na lang, graduate na siya! I can't wait to call him Attorney Vergara.

Nakalabas na si Adrian ng ospital. After Gio and Adrian talked, bigla na lang nakulong na si Ryan. Gio was the one who took care of the case, siya ang nag-asikaso, siya ang nagbayad ng lawyer pero hindi kay Judge Vergara napunta dahil baka sabihin daw na biased.

It was really hard since Ryan has a lot of connections─especially Governor ang Dad niya; but thankfully, Gio has a lot of connections, too, since Judge 'yung tatay niya.

Thankfully, we won the case. Nag-file si Gio ng Serious Physical Injury, both Criminal and Civil Case since public crime naman daw kaya pwedeng siya ang mag-file. Three years lang ang naging penalty kay Ryan pero okay na rin kaysa hindi siya makulong. Nagbayad din ng civil damages si Ryan kay Adrian.

"Anong araw 'yon, babe?" I asked Gio while I was busy applying face powder on my face.

"Friday. Pwede ka ba?"

I nodded. "Of course." I said as I got my lipstick tapos biglang may humps pala kaya nagulo ang lipstick ko.

"Ugh!" iritang sabi ko habang naghahanap ng wipes sa bag ko.

Gio chuckled. "What's wrong?"

"Do you have wipes here, babe?" I looked at the mini compartment in front of me.

"Yes, love. Just look at the black pouch, I think?"

Tumango ako at kinuha ang black pouch, binuksan ko 'yon at mukhang hygiene kit. May tissues, mouthwash, alcohol and wipes tapos mayroon ding...

"What the hell?" I reacted as I got the condoms inside the pouch. Almost 10 condoms! "Gio, really?"

Gio looked at me then his lips parted when he saw what I was holding. Agad niyang inagaw sa akin 'yung hawak kong mga limang condoms, nalaglag pa sa kung saan 'yung iba dahil nagmamadali si Gio na kuhanin 'yon.

I got the other 5 and raised it. "Again. Gio, really?"

Gio groaned. "Ugh! Why did you have to see that? Hindi ko pa pala 'yan natatanggal diyan. God, this is so embarrassing." He frowned and got again the 5 condoms in my hand.

I laughed. "Ten talaga? Ang dalas naman yatang─"

"My God, Natalia. Stop it!" He frowned again.

I pursed my lips to hold back my laugh. Nakakatawa 'yung reaction ni Gio.

"That was before we met, baka nga expired na 'yan." he said while turning the steering wheel dahil nagpa-park na siya sa parking ng restaurant.

I laughed again.

"Bakit tawa ka nang tawa?" pagmamaktol niya nang huminto na ang kotse.

I looked at him. "I just remebered the first time we met."

He grinned. "When you got a condom and you thought it's candy?"

Natawa ako at tumango. "Iyon ang embarrassing."

Hinanap ni Gio 'yung dalawang condom na nalaglag sa paanan niya. Inipon niya 'yon at binulsa.

"Saan mo dadalahin 'yan?" I asked.
