Ransom had spent the full night thinking about Louis and Dianna. A small part of him felt maybe he was overreacting but the majority of him felt he wasn't. If this situation was the other way around she would be acting exactly the same, she would be furious. He thought about them so much that he never even realised the sun had risen, it was a new day. However that didn't mean that it was a new start for ransom. He needed to see this for himself, he needed to see this asshole Louis.

He jumped into his car, speeding all the way until he reached the office. He walked straight in, not giving anything another thought. As he walked in Dianna nor Louis was in sight.

"Ransom? Are you here to see Dianna?" Harlan asked walking towards him

"Yes, where is she?" He spat

Harlan sighed "In the kitchen"

Ransom walked straight towards the kitchen, Harlan knew something was up. Ransom was practically running, the steam blowing out of his of his nose. He opened the kitchen door seeing what he was looking for, Louis sat right beside Dianna. He was practically fucking her with his eyes. This made ransoms blood boil even more, he didn't know it was possible but oh god it was.

"Ransom" Dianna stood from her chair, she noticed his eyes soften as he looked at her but it only lasted for a second before his anger came back turning to Louis

"You" he hissed walking towards Louis

"Me? What have I done I-" Louis started but was quickly caught off by ransoms fist connecting with his face

"What have you done?! What have you done?!" Ransom spat before pushing Louis to the ground

"Ransom! Stop it!" Dianna went to go help Louis up as he reached his arm out pushing her away

Louis stood up pushing straight into ransom, the two beginning to punch one another again and again. Dianna didn't know what to do, she couldn't stop them. Harlan. She didn't know what he would do but he was her only option. She ran out of the kitchen going straight to his office, the worry evident on her face

"Dianna? What's wrong?" Harlan asked

"Ransom, Louis. They're fighting" she rushed out

"Shit" he stood up, following Dianna back to the kitchen

Dianna immediately knew leaving the kitchen was a bad idea. Louis was now on the floor with ransom on top of him, landing every punch. Both of the mens faces were covered in cuts, small droplets of blood beginning to drip down their face.

"Ransom! Enough get off him!" Harlan grabbed his grandsons arm trying to pull him off

"Don't!" Ransom reached behind him pushing Harlan back, going straight back into punching Louis.

"Ransom! Please, stop" Dianna spoke the tears in her eyes begin to prick. She knew this was her fault, this was all her fault.

Ransom didn't listen, he just continued. He wanted- no he needed to make Louis pay. Dianna had enough, she reached forward grabbing his arm in an attempt to pull him off Louis. "I said don't!" He turned his body pushing who he thought was Harlan back onto the floor with all his force, but that's the thing it wasn't Harlan. When ransom saw Dianna on the floor he immediately stopped, running to her side. "Dianna, I thought you were- I'm so sorry" he shook his head beginning to help her up "are you alright"

"I can get up myself" she scoffed pulling away from him before standing up

"I didn't mean to, I'm so sorry. Are you okay?" He repeated again, the worry lacing his voice.

"I'm fine." She walked over to Louis, slowly helping him up "you okay?" Her voice softening when she spoke to him

Louis nodded "yeah, yeah I'm fine"

"Let's go get you cleaned up" Dianna began walking towards the door

"Dianna, please. Come home with me" ransom begged

"Go home with you? Go home with you?! You must be crazy. You promised no more fights." She spat walking out of the kitchen with Louis

As ransom watched her leave it felt like she was slipping through his fingers. His light was leaving him standing in the darkness and it was all his fault, he let his anger get the best of him. He was losing the best thing in his life, the best thing to ever happen to him.

"You never learn" Harlan sighed, shaking his head

"Not now" ransom wasn't in the mood for a talk about his behaviour, especially from his grandfather

"You're pushing her away, maybe this time you've pushed her too far" Harlan took one final look at ransom before opening the kitchen door and walking out

"Fuck!" Ransom hissed kicking the chair beside him causing it to fall over

Ransom didn't bother going to look for Dianna, he knew she wouldn't want to see him right now anyway. So instead he went home, he thought about ways to make it up to her. Ways he could make things right however the more he thought about it the more he thought about Louis. Yes this was ransoms fault but he would never have gotten angry if it wasn't for Louis, maybe the way to get things back to normal with Dianna was to get rid of Louis? Remove the obstacle. That was it, it clicked like a switch inside his head, he had to remove the obstacle.
