Jaehyun wanted to break everything he sees, shatter every glass, burn down everything he could find. He was just so angry and disappointed. He was frustrated to the peek. It was too much to take in. He needed to let it out but being the person he was, he fought those overwhelming emotions, instead of flowing with them. If anyone sees him now, leaning against the foot of the bed sitting on the floor eyes closed, they would probably see how calm and peaceful he was. But it was a complete opposite within. His mind was a mess. His tears threatening to fall. But he can't let them escape, because he should not weep over punishing a traitor...............right? His chest clenched at the thought of his friend again. He did what he never imagined he would have to ever do.

He was regretting his decision. He shouldn't have let Johnny be the one to capture Ten's soul. He should have known that Johnny won't be able to take his own lover's life. He should have denied when Johnny begged to take upon the task when he was going to trust it to Lucas. He should have denied! Then maybe Johnny wouldn't have saved Ten, and he wouldn't have to be punished like that. It was a big crime that his friend committed and being the King of the Hell, he can't unsee it. Here was the place where they don't discriminate like the humans. A guilty is a guilty. A sinner is a sinner. They gets punished as per the rules. The rules the humans can never stick to. Thats what made the Demon Lord hate the humans so bad. Even he lost his friend because of one. It was not smart of him to blame Ten but he felt distraughted. Only if he could change things. Only if Johnny's mate was not a human.

Jaehyun groaned and ran his hands through his hairs in frustration. The screams of Johnny was ringing in his ears. The pure agony in those eyes, when he was caging the demon's heart, he saw them all. The pictures of Johnny's lifeless body flashed in his mind again and again. It hurt him. It fucking hurts to think that he was the cause of it. He was the one who tortured Johnny. He was the ruthless one. But did he has any other choice? A person's death is decided. The place and time, the second they will take their last breath. It's all and always decided. No one can nor should mess with the cycle of life and death. It's a catastrophe.

Jaehyun chuckled out loud. He was laughing at his own rotten luck. He was the King of Hell. He was the one who decides the punishment and tortures for the sinners. He rules the place, the deity of the dark creatures and power. But when it came to his own friend being the one committing crime, he was torn apart. None the less he has to follow the rules too. He couldn't spare Johnny just because he was his best friend. He just couldn't. The king who can't even change the rules. The powerless king. How ridiculously ironic that was!

In the midst of his misery Jaehyun's ears perked up at the sound of speeding footsteps nearing his room. He recognises them very well. He was expecting the visit too but now he was not in a mood to. He didn't want to meet anyone. And by anyone mean noone. Even if it was his mate who just slammed the door to his room open.

"You bastard!!" Taeyong was vexed. He wanted nothing but to punch down the immortal so bad. He stormed towards Jaehyun who was now back on his feet. Taeyong charged to throw a blow right on him but his foot was suddenly caged by dark vines that popped out of the floor and wrapped around his feet, gluing him to the ground.

"You coward!! How can you do this to your own friend? How can you punish someone for saving a life!!! What kind of pathetic law is that??!" This didn't stopped him from verbally attacking the Demon Lord.

After being escorted by Mark to his home , Taeyong interrogated the demon. He wanted to know what actually happened. He was told by the demon about how sinful it is to save the life of the person who was destined to die. He was shooked when the name of the person whom Johnny saved was revealed. He felt broken and angered. He couldn't lose Ten. He can't imagine seeing the younger die just like that. It was too much for him. He knows the rules of life and death. It's inevitable. What comes will go eventually. But he couldn't believe that the younger's time had already ended. He can't let go of him. He can't lose him. He just can't. He was grateful to Johnny for saving Ten. The demon didn't deserve such a severe punishment. The more he thought about losing Ten the more his heart cursed the Demon Lord and his hideous rules.
