Y/N stared at Zenitsu as he offered her a small bouquet of flowers.
She took her hand off of Nezuko's head and grabbed them.
"Ah, thank you, Zenitsu. This is really kind of you," she said.
Zenitsu looked back at her lovingly, almost as though there were hearts in his eyes.
"Anything for you, Y/N-chan~"
She laughed nervously, his tone worrying her.
Nezuko growled, grabbing Y/N's arms, her eyes narrowed at Zenitsu.
The two glared at each other angrily.
'I shouldn't have protected her, the little twerp!'
'One wrong move and I'll gouge your eyeballs out!'
Y/N turned her attention to Tanjiro who was holding his crow.
The animal told them to go to Mount Natagumo as quickly as possible for an emergency mission.

"We'll be going, now! Thank you for you hospitality!" Tanjiro said.
"I shall light sparks of good luck for you!" The old woman said.
"Thank you very much!"
"What are you doing, you old hag?!" Inosuke yelled, attempting to attack the woman.
"Are you stupid?! She's lighting sparks to ward off evil spirits! We are going to embark on a dangerous mission, after all!" Zenitsu exclaimed.
"No matter what may happen, please live with you heads held up high. I wish you luck on your coming battles," the woman said.

"Zenitsu, please stand up," Y/N muttered, trying to encourage Zenitsu to join them.
"NO! THAT FOREST IS SO SCARY!" He screamed, clinging onto Y/N's skirt.
Suddenly, an injured member of the Corps crawled out of the forest.
"Help... Help me..." He muttered weakly.
Tanjiro and Inosuke ran up to him.
Y/N tried to do the same, but Zenitsu grabbed her by the waist and pulled her down with him.
"Let me go, Zenitsu!" She demanded, her usual calm and kind demeanor growing annoyed.
Zenitsu didn't answer, instead choosing to bury his head into her neck.
Y/N watched as the Corps member was flung into the air and back into the forest.
"Let's go," Tanjiro said.
"I'll go in first! Bring your trembling forms and follow me!" Inosuke yelled, leading the way into the forest.
"Zenitsu!" Y/N said angrily.
"We need to follow them! It's our job as Demon Slayers!"
"But it's so sca-"
"Then you don't have to go! But unlike you, I want to help prevent innocent lives from being taken, even if it mean sacrificing my own!"
She broke out of his grip and ran off into the forest, leaving an enraged Zenitsu behind.
