I stretched my arms up above my head at the sound of the curtains getting pulled and daylight streamed into the bedroom. Immediately a small laugh sounded from Sunghoon as I squinted open my eyes and looked over at said boy, who stood and just looked down at me.

"I thought we were sleeping in today," I murmured, earning another small laugh from Sunghoon.

"We were?" he let out a small laugh, to which I nodded, "oh well, why didn't you say that earlier. I could need some more cuddles," he chuckled.

Quickly laying down on the bed again Sunghoon grabbed onto my waist, pulling mover to lay beside him. I smiled before letting my arms fall down and wrap around his neck to pull him closer as Sunghoon let out a small laugh.

"Well, you're clingy today," Sunghoon commented and I just hummed as I closed my eyes and let out a hum of content, "mind telling me why?"

"Because... it's Saturday, I love you, you don't have work, almost two weeks have passed and you still haven't touched one drop of alcohol, and sometime around Thursday we'll be told the results of your medical exam," I listed and Sunghoon let out another small laugh.

"I love you too," he whispered to which I hummed, "and my plan was actually... to go Christmas shopping today. I need to find a gift for you."

"I don't want one," I shook my head and he let out a laugh, "and now it's not just something I'm saying because I don't want you spending money on me. I really don't want a gift."

"Hm..." Sunghoon hummed and rubbed my back softly, sounding like he went into deep thought, "you sure?"

"120%," I nodded, "should we invite your mom over for Christmas?" I questioned and lifted my head to look down at him.

"No," he shook his head at me, "I cut contact with her."

"What? Why?" I questioned him with a small frown, "she was so kind."

"She got too mad after I put Nari in her place," he shook his head, "told me I was stupid and arrogant for insisting to wait for the day you would come back. She was sure I would never see you again. I cut her off and she never reached out to me again."

I hummed quietly before pulling my hand to me, beginning to draw patterns on his chest, the soft fabric of his t-shirt getting slightly wrinkled as I did so.

"Invite your brother," he urged and I shook my head at him, "come on, maybe it'll be nice to see him again," he softly reminded and tugged my hair behind my ears.

"I don't even know where he is," I excused with a shake of the head, "and I think I would prefer it to stay like that."

"Whatever makes you happy," he nodded at me, "so just the two of us for Christmas?"

"Seems like it," I nodded at him.

"Are you sad about that?" he murmured and I just shook my head before smiling softly down at me, "are you sure?"

"It's gonna be weird," I shrugged, "but you'll be home for Christmas, won't you?" I questioned in amusement and he just nodded at me, "then I don't mind."

"And we can put on a few Christmas movies, just cuddle the whole day... eat ourselves fat in all the Christmas candies we can find," he smiled before poking my side softly, earning a squirm the moment I pulled away at the ticklish feeling. Resulting in a small laugh from Sunghoon, "is that a deal?"

"I would love that," I nodded at him with a small smile.

"Just as much as you love me?" he questioned and I shook my head.

"I think you're just a bit above that idea," I replied making him let out a gasp as I tried to contain my laughter.

"You did not just-" he started as I slowly tried to inch away from him.

However, he was much stronger and had no problem in pulling me tightly into him once again. He pressed his forehead against mine as I desperately continued to surpress my laughter.

"Say you love me a lot more," he stated and I bit down on my bottom lip, "say it missy," he continued trying to hide his smile as well.

"No," I managed to get out without laughing.

"Will I have to kiss it out of you?" he questioned and I quietly shrugged as I pulled my arms up to my chest, hiding the way my heart was going feral for this man.

"Perhaps..." I slowly trailed off and he rolled his eyes at me before simply pecking my nose.

"If it's only perhaps then I'm not even gonna give it an effort," he nonchalantly excused before rolling out of bed, giving me a smug look as I watched him waltz out into the kitchen, much to my disbelief.
