☆Miracle's: POV☆
Yeah this isn't working out for me... Like not at all. I have been wondering about these halls for like an hour or something, can you believe that an hour?! An entire hour of going back and forth, left and right to end up anywhere but the one place I need to go to!
I let out a sigh of frustration raking my hands through my messy cinnamon-coloured hair, slightly tugging at it, a habit of sorts whenever I start to lose patience or get frustrated.
My eyes keep darting from door to door as I make my way down the hallway, when one particular set of doors caught my eye. They were made of glass yet there were beautiful flower carving and two fish mirroring each other on each door. I push both of them open and find myself outside in a giant and open garden.
There are bushes of roses and various other flowers sprouting on the ground, the smell of wet grass tickling my nostrils indicating the rain that had been present the night before. Although one spot caught my attention the most though, it was a fish pond with a simple oak bench seated on the outer area of the pond and a huge willow tree leaning over the pond looking as if it was about to enter it.
I walked over to the bench, the wood still slightly damp but not enough to stain my pants, hopefully, because that would be embarrassing. I carefully sat down on the bench, and then averted my gaze to the sky above dotted with stars. Normally people would try to find constellations but I didn't know any so opted to just look at them and the crescent moon situated there.
The longer I looked at the stars the more it reminded me of my dream, so I quickly looked down at the fish pond only to realise they were glowing a golden colour. I watched as they swam gracefully through the blankets of water and looped around the stems of the lily pads. I was so hyper focused on watching my marine friends dance around that I hadn't noticed the doors opening and closing.
"What are you doing out here?" A monotone voice broke my trance, I didn't even need to turn around to know who it was.
"Hi Rainbow." I stated.

♧Rainbow's: POV♧
I roamed around the hallways. I took the first floor whilst Jaza had agreed to look at the second floor, the hunt for Miracle was on and we were on a tight schedule. We had to find her as soon as possible for fear of Chip's wrath. Depending if the special guest was here to make a really good deal or the worst case scenario, Chip made a bet again and had to give one of us aw-. I quickly shook away the thought, thinking about it made me feel queasy just the idea that one of them could be gone due to Chips' never ending thirst for taking risks.
'Where the hell could she be?!' Every turn I took I would only be met with the somewhat empty corridors with the occasional guest roaming around asking for directions to the main area. Not a Miracle in sight though, Chip is probably starting to get impatient and I have no idea how long Chubby, Chip and Sash can stall this elusive guest for.
That's finally when a pair of doors caught my attention, ornate glass doors to be exact. I snap my fingers 'The garden of course!'. I pushed the glass doors open and immediately spotted a cinnamon haired goat, I doubt she heard me though considering she was mindlessly staring at the night sky. My eyes briefly flicker to the crescent moon that sat among the navy blue sky, stars dotting it like freckles. My attention snapped back to my main mission, Miracle.
"What are you doing out here?" I questioned, I knew why she was out here I just wanted her to tell me on her own accord. I doubt my reasoning was wrong because I'm always right, but it doesn't hurt me to be wrong every once in a while.
"Hi Rainbow." She stated, not even turning around to greet me properly. Second time today someone has done this to me. I swear no one here has manners.
"Y'know everyone is waiting for you."
"Are you all throwing a party for me? Well I'm flattered but it isn't my birthday." I lightly smack in the back of the head "Ow"
"Don't kid yourself, this isn't a party to celebrate you. Chip just has a special guest and they want to meet us."
"Why?"
"Honestly, I have no clue."
"Doesn't he tell you guys everything since you're his 'special team'." She used air quotes when saying 'special team' , her gaze still fixed on the moon above.
"You're included too now, so why don't you know?"
"I really thought you were the smartest one, guess not. Maybe it's because, I don't know, I have only been here for a day?!"
"Don't raise your voice at me." She mumbled a quick apology, and it was back to silence. "So why did you come out here?"
"It was the only different door, plus it looked so pretty curiosity got the best of me." I hummed in response, so my theory was correct just another day of being right about everything I guess.
"We should probably head back inside now."
"Yeah probably."
Silence...
"Are you alright?" Her head finally turned to look at me, I was still wearing a blank expression although I'm sure she picked up the slight concern laced in my voice.
"Yes? No? I don't know!" She dragged her hands across her face in frustration.
"Why don't you know?"
"I don't know! Maybe because life sucks and never gives a proper answer to any question?! Or maybe that I'm stuck here and just want to get out?! Or even maybe I always feel like somebody's watching me all the time!" I was stunned into silence, whilst I watched her tug at her reddish hair. Who knew Miracle could be so loud spoken it felt like a complete shift from her usual cowerdish self.
"Shit, shit I'm so sorry, I-I shouldn't have dumped all of that on you, or raised my voice. Shit I'm so sorry." She slumped down her head resting on her lap and her hands covering her head. It was back to the cowerdish Miracle, or maybe it was just a girl who didn't know how to deal with this new and 'exciting' environment, we would never know.
"You are a very confusing person." She slowly lifts her hands and turns her head slightly towards me, I can see one of her tangy orange eyes staring at me.
"That's a very confusing statement."
"What's confusing about my statement?"
"Call me crazy-"
"You're crazy." From what I can see of her face she looks unamused by my poorly made joke.
"Haha, so funny. Anyway, call me crazy but the statement of 'you are a confusing person' implies that something about me doesn't make sense, and my question is what is it?"
"What is what?" I replied innocently.
"What about me is confusing?" She sits back up her body now fully facing me.
"The fact that two seconds you're sassy and confident and then the next you cower at any force which is proved to be stronger then you."
"..." A small silence stretched through the cold night time air "I have nothing to counter that."
"Figured as much."
"We should probably head inside to meet that guest." She quietly mutters under her breath.
I let out an airy sigh, stand up and stretch my limbs still I can hear a satisfying pop.
"Alright let's head inside." I start making my way towards the ornate glass doors of Miracle trailing behind me.
Wonder how mad Chip will be.
