(This takes place around 1989-1990 making reader around 5 or 6 years old, Susan Sarandon is our mom.)

No Tw just fluff

Susan felt bad being on set as much as she was because it meant she had less time to see you, and in her eyes you were growing up too fast, which only made her feel worse.

But having the lead role meant having many lines meaning she had to spend many hours shooting scenes and sitting in a makeup trailer, by the time she got home she would be beyond tired and you would already be tucked in bed fast asleep.

So when you got the the chance to ask if she could go to school with you, it was an offer she couldn't refuse even if it was just to show and tell and Susan couldn't have been more eager to spend time with her precious baby.

As her foot made it's way through the door, she was swarmed by an army of small children- you being unsurprisingly friendly, that along with the fact all the children were excited once they found out your mom was coming to school.

wasting no time you grabbed her hand and began to drag her into the front of the classroom, giggling joyfully at the look on your mother's face, while all your little classmates smiled at what was to come. Even your teacher couldn't help but giggle at your well known antics.

Ms.Smith: '' Y/n- hunny you were supposed to bring in something like a toy or-'' You: '' Nah ah no you said we had to bring in something that made us happy... and I did see'' you said cockily pointing to your mom.

Susan was not to release those tears threatening to spill as she truly processed your words, she realised it was HER that made you happy not some toy or book, not your dad or best friend not even the dog but HER. Looking at you right now she couldn't be more proud to be able to say she was your mother and your were her daughter, her darling baby girl no matter how old or big you got you'd always be her baby.

Dramatically clearing your throat you began to explain as to why your mom was the coolest person in existence and how exactly she made you the happiest little girl alive. ''My mommy will always get me ANYTHING i ask for, even if my dad says no, she'll still get it just for me'', you say as your smile begins to widen.

''She always make time for me even if it includes bringing me to set with her because she's an actor which means she super duper important because then you'd have nothing to watch on tv... right mom?'' you asked turning to face your mother. She only smiled and nodded in response only then she had she realised the reason you were suddenly interested in her job and your classmates couldn't help but 'ooh' as they too realised something- she was the redhead on tv and your mom.

'' Whenever i hurt myself, she's always there with loads and loads of hugs and kisses to make me feel better''. '' Oh and when I do a good job on something she always tells me how proud she is and she tells the bestest stories ever in the whole world!''

'' She teaches me lots, like how to ride a bike even if I wasn't good at it''

'' She makes the prettiest braids and styles in my hair and I like when mom does my hair more than daddy!, oh and she always gets me a snowglobe from her trips, i even have a whole shelf full of them from every around the whole world!''.

''And now the moment we've been waiting for the reason why my mommy makes me the happiest girl in the entire whole wide universe is because she loves me... even when i'm naughty, she still loves me and tells me she loves me when she's tucking me in bed and sometimes i even pretend to be asleep, she stills says it when she comes home to say 'goodnight baby' and kiss my forehead!''. You absentmindedly confess causing your mother to smile at the real reason you smile in your sleep when she enters the room.

Soon enough the room was filled with clapping from both your classmates and the adults so without thinking twice you turned and ran leaping straight into your mothers welcoming arms, as she wrapped her arms securely around you, her baby, she couldn't help but place a delicate kiss on your forehead and hugging you even tighter.

Later that night when your mother had walked into your room only to find you 'sleeping' she quickly remembered what you had said. Tiptoeing up to your bed she gently shook you 'awake', causing you to break out in a melodious giggle, jumping straight into your mother's arms, Susan soon kissed your head and pulled you closer towards her heart.

You:'' Did I do a good job mommy?'' Susan:'' You did an amazing job baby, and i'm so so proud of you, okay? and I love you so much baby''

You: *rubbing your eyes* ''and I love you too mama, can you tell my a story *yawn* please?''

More than happy to oblige she cuddled up next to you and began telling you one of your favourite stories, whilst you snuggled deeper into her chest falling asleep almost instantly, a smile gracing your mothers lips as you slept knowing your mother loved you as much as you loved her, after all was your number one fan.
