"So Y/n you wrote a book recently is that correct" Jimmy asked me as my mother faced my direction.

I nodded a gentle blush forming on my cheeks "yes I did" I admitted quietly avoiding my mothers crystal blue eyes.

"We've got a copy here with us tonight if you're willing to talk about it" he offered smiling in pride.

"Of course" I smiled brightly.

"Tell us about it" he pulled out the book showing the crowd.

"Beautiful cover by the way" he complimented still hiding it from my mum.

"Thank you, you can flip it over now" I commented hearing my mother gasp as she saw it.

The cover was a picture of me on my mother Michelle's chest not long after I was born.

"What made you come up with the title?" He asked "well, I'm not sure all I knew was I didn't want the 'my mothers daughter' title".

"The two of us just had a better ring also" I added glancing at my mother who still seemed in shock.

"What's it about?" Mum asked.

I looked down before answering "it's about my life with my amazing mother Michelle Pfeiffer and what it was like growing up as me and just everything we had to face" I smiled.

"I also added a number of pictures in the book just to truly capture the moment" I pointed.

"It sounds very interesting" Jimmy added skimming through the pages.

"To my mother thank you for doing more than I could ever ask, after all. I realised that too, she was like me. Hurt, broken and lost. We all need a guide and she is mine. I hope I'm making you proud because I promise I'm doing my best" he read out.

"Wow. That's beautiful"

"Oh Y/n, my baby I'll always be proud of you" my mother cooed pulling me into her embrace.

If "unconditional love" was a person. It would be her.
