(Unedited)

There you were after all these years, dancing in the middle of the crowded room surrounded by everyone and all the children who managed to stay awake and wanted to join you. Bending down to dance with some of the younger ones with a giant smile plastered along your glowing face but looking up you meet the same gaze of your ex-lover. A single teardrop sliding down your cheek as you begin to frown, feeling all the pain and memories hit you like a ton of bricks you look away pulling out a fake smile.

Olivia ran from the situation, you had looked so happy and you were just not until you saw her again. Her actions had caused you even more heartbreak, your daughter began tugging on your dress gaining her your attention ''yes little love?" brushing a hand over her head ''i'm tired mommy can we go see mama now'' yawning into your leg. ''Of course baby let mommy grab her things'' picking her up you gathered your belongings and left.

Walking your daughter to school with your wife Sarah a few days later you spot her again. It felt almost as if she was stalking you, she sat outfront a cafe watching your every movement, your gaze meeting before you looked away grasping Sarah's hand a little tighter. ''Hey baby you alright?'' she whispered into your ear ''i'll tell you about it at home'' you hastily respond.Looking back to find her gone.

Once home you begin immediately telling Sarah everything that's happened the past few days ''doe's she know?'' Sarah softly asked grabbing your waist pulling you onto her lap ''no.. she ended it before i could tell her'' you began sniffling ''it's alright baby'' Sarah began softly pulling your head into her chest.

Olivia should of been happy but she wasn't, she ended things, she broke your heart but why was she so hurt?. After the party she just had to see you again, see if she could change things hoping if she asked you'd take her back. Until she noticed you with that blonde woman and a little girl who was a photocopy of yourself, honestly hoping that woman was a friend not noticing the ring on your finger or the hands entwined.

When school finished you and Sarah decided a walk in the park would be good a nice calm place to tell your daughter some news. You nervously played with your hands gulping rather loudly, how were you supposed to tell your daughter everything she knows is a lie?.

Sitting down on a park bench you took Ophelia's hand in your own Sarah sitting on her other side. "Ophelia love we need to tell you something" you started softly the beating of your heart becoming harsher. The small face turned slightly to look up at you "so... baby" Sarah looked at you smiling softly "before you were born mommy was dating someone". "What? Mama? Is that true?" Ophelia screeched "yes.. but just listen" Sarah answered her politely.

"Ophelia... her name is Olivia and she's also your mama" you admitted hesitantly "so..." "so mama isn't my mama?" Ophelia asked sadly tears welling in her eyes.

"No no no I'll always be your mama we just don't share the same dna" Sarah spoke pulling Ophelia into her arms.

Ophelia had been quite for sometime "alright, I love you" she whispered nodding her head in Sarahs chest "I love you more little one" kissing her head repeatedly.

Looking past your girls you spot her once again staring straight at you, standing you make your way towards her anger growing throughout your body.

"Olivia, what is it you want?" I yelled trying not to cause a scene "you, I made a mistake" she admitted eyes locked on yours until the soft grass became more interesting.

"Of course Olivia but you're too late" I whisper yelled at her "what do you mean?" She looked upset "I mean you're too late Olivia, I just had to tell our daughter that everything she knew wasn't true".

"O-our daughter?" Olivia stuttered "yes you daft cow, our-my daughter mine and Sarah's" I spoke clearly trying to make my point known.

"You can meet her if you'd like just not now" I offered hoping what I'm doing is for the best "no funny business" I walked back to the girls leaving Olivia to think.

Sarah pulled me into herself kissing my temple as Ophelia hugged our legs Olivia watching the scene as I pulled the small girl to rest on my hip. Her heart breaking she swallowed walking from the park "I love you Y/n" she whispered leaving the grounds.
