Together at last

Legolas P.O.V

The coronation party was a smash, the dwarves were completly drunk that you couldnt understand a word they say.

A lot of people were hanging around Lauren, asking her what happened and how she is still alive, while I was talking to Aragorn.

"So, you think that you might pop the question soon?" Aragorn asked

"Oh I don't know Mellon, what if things go wrong again?" I asked staring at Lauren.

"Nothing will go wrong, I've seen they way she looks at you, she still loves you, as you love her"

Then I realised that he was right, I still love Lauren with all my heart.

I walked up to her and put my arms around her waist.

"Excuse me, everyone, but I would like her for a while" I said.

"Whats wrong my love" she said in Elvish.

"I just wanted to tell you how sorry I am and how I still love you" I replied in Elvish.

We walked to the balcony and looked out on the whole of Middle-Earth.

"Legolas, I know how sorry you are, and I still love you too" she said grabbing my hand

"Lauren, I've been wanting to ask you this for a long time" I said

My hands were shaking, "What" she asked.

"Lauren Renee Stormcrow, would you do me the honor of being with me for all eternity?" I asked holding out the ring I gaveto Cecelia.

"Legolas.......it would be great honor" she said smiling.

I smiled and kissed her, then we heard applause and we turned and saw the others, smiling and clapping, I looked down and saw that Lauren was blushing,

We walked back into the room and everyone started congratulated us, we started dancing and let the whole night drift away.

Lauren P.O.V

The whole night was a blast, I got engaged to someone who held my heart, my friend accepted his destiny and the war was over.

Then it came to me, where would we live, I can't go back to Rivendell after everything that's happened, I've got my own kin and people to watch over.

"Legolas, I was just thinking, where would we go after this?" I asked

"What do you mean my love?"

"Well where would we live I mean we can't go back to Rivendell and Mirkwood after all this" I explained

"I see what you mean"

"So I was thinking that maybe you could see what Mordor was like before Sauron came to existence" I said smiling

He seemed to be a bit unsure about the idea at first, but he nodded and then I knew that the rest of my life will be perfect
