A/N: It's about to get messier. :/

Ricky's POV:
It has been a crazy weekend. Yesterday, I stayed up texting my crush, E.J. He told me some really personal stuff about his home life and I promised to keep it a secret.
I have been staring at the texts all day and been hiding my phone friends so that they can't see it.
I want my friendship with E.J to stay a secret until he's ready to talk to me in person in school.I really like him and I think he looks so good when he plays lacrosse but he just seems so different when he talks to me through text message rather than in-person.
I wish that he would make up his mind already and decide if he wants to talk to me in school or not because I hate this online friend thing.
Of course, I want to be more than friends with him but I don't know what his sexuality is and it is rude to ask someone that.
"Ricky, are you paying attention?" I hear Gina's voice from across our lunch table.
"Huh? What? What are we talking about?" I quickly glance over at the table and see that she's sitting next to Nini.
That's a good sign.
"I wanted to introduce you to my new friends, Seb and Carlos. They are in the LGBTQ+ club. I thought that you'd be interested in joining," I look over see Gina winking at me.
