Chapter 8

Amelias POV

Christopher is back to his normal self, it only lasted with him being sick for a day and he went back to daycare the day after

It's now Friday and I'm sitting in class with Arizona only I feel like she has been avoiding me

She usually is all happy when she sees me and we talk pretty much all class but since I had to leave she won't even do that

If anything she only talks to me when she has to

I don't even know what i did wrong, I don't remember doing anything wrong, maybe she just regrets kissing me at the party last week.

I sighed and just payed attention to the teacher

"It's Friday, I don't have anything else for you guys" our teacher says, we still have half an hour left of class

"Amelia, see me in the hall please" Mrs.Bailey says

This can't be good

"Is everything okay?" I ask her once we were in the hall

"I wanted to ask about that phone call the other day" she says

"What about it?" I ask nervously

"Whose Christopher?" She ask me

"Um... um just. Just just my brothers kid" I lie and she knows it too

"Okay... well, if you need anything let me know " she says and we go inside, I know she knows I was lying but I'm not ready for people to know and I went and sat back down at my seat

"Dude. What the hell happened" Linc ask me

"What?"

"You and Arizona" he says and Arizona looks over at the mention of her name

"You guys don't even talk anymore" he says and. I sigh

"I'm not going to force someone to talk to me, if she doesn't want to be friends then so be it" Arizona says

"When have I ever said I didn't want to be friends?" I ask her

"I mean Amelia you're always short in messages, you never want to hang out, and if I don't text you first I'm not going to be hearing from you" she says and I look at her, she's right

"Im- im sorry, I have just been busy" I say and she scoffs

"Exactly Amelia, you're busy, every day, all day. You don't want to be friends? All you had to do was say that" she says and I sigh and just look away from everyone

They don't understand, none of them understand,

It's not like I try to be distant I just, have a lot going on

"You know what Arizona? Screw you. I told you I had personal problems, I wouldn't just make that up, I'm sorry if it felt like I didn't want to be your friend, wasn't my intention at all" I tell her and the bell rang for our next class

Arizona then ignored me all day, can't say I blame her though

After school and work I got Chris and we headed home where Addison and Derek already were

"My baby is here!" Addison shrieks and takes Chris from me and I smile

"You have him?" I ask her and she nods and I walk upstairs and I lay in bed to see if Arizona had messaged me and she didn't

I sighed and didn't even realize how long I was up here until Addison came up
