Arizona's POV
We are back on the east coast and now have court tomorrow, which is also when we plan on talking to Chris about everything
On a happier note it's really amazing being engaged to Amelia,
But coopers comment had me thinking, I legally don't have any rights to Chris, Amelia could leave me and I wouldn't be able to see him
Something could happen to Amelia, god forbid and I wouldn't get Chris, he would just go to Ryan
I wanted to talk to Amelia about me legally becoming his other guardian, I don't think she will have a problem with it.
But I don't know how soon we would be able to do so because of everything with Ryan now anyway
"Christopher no, you're not eating those for lunch" I heard Amelia say
"Yes I am!" Chris yells back and I walk out there to see Chris with a bag of chips in his hand while Amelia hand her hands on her hips
"I will give you some but you are eating the rest of lunch as well" she says and he huffs but nods
"No more after this" she says and he nods
"That's how you know he is yours, the need for junk food" I say and Amelia rolls her eyes
"That is not true" she says and I smile
"Yes it is, Amelia we can't go without Ice cream in the freezer for even a day" I say and she pouts
"Well if I remember correctly my ice cream obsession was mentioned as a reason you love me?" She smirks
"You're ridiculous!" I laugh and she smiles and nods but kisses me anyway
The both of us got lunch as well and sat down with Chris to eat
"Im done, can I go play now?" He ask, only after eating the chips on his plate
"No, you need to finish your sandwich" I tell him, Amelia has made him peanut butter and jelly which is usually one of his favorites
"But I'm full!" He says
"Fine, but you're not getting anything other than that until dinner" Amelia says and he shrugs and leaves the table and goes to his room
"He'll be hungry in half an hour" I say and she nods
"And this will be waiting for him" she says and puts his plate on the counter and sits back down with me
"I actually wanted to talk to you" I say
"Everything okay?" She ask and I nod
"Yea, yea everything is fine it's just something Cooper said about me not having any right to Chris" I say
"You know that doesn't matter to me, you're just as much as his mom as I am" she says and I nod
"I know, but... I can't even take him to the doctor if he gets sick, and if something were to happen... I wouldn't be able to see him." I explain
"So you want it to be legal? Is that what you're asking?" She ask me and I nod
"Okay, I don't have a problem with that" she says and I smile
"I didn't think you would but I wanted to ask" i say and she smiles
"Of course, as soon as we can we'll get it done okay?" She says and I nod
"Thank you" I sigh and she kisses me softly
"No need to thank me" she says and Chris comes back out to us
