Arizona's POV
The next morning Amelia and Chris both slept in longer than I did, I have always been a morning person though
We have a lot of Christmas wrapping to do today as well, as we ordered things for Chris for Christmas we had them sent here since we knew we would be in Seattle and it would be easier than just bringing them with us so Addison has been collecting them for us
I decided on waiting a little bit longer before waking up Chris and Amelia, I knew it might be a bad idea but I didn't want Chris to sleep too late because then he would be up later again tonight, he typically gets up early in the mornings on his own anyway
"Baby... wake up" I say and gently kiss Amelia until she opens her eyes but instead of getting up she grabbed my waist, making me fall onto the bed next to her
"Sleep" she mumbles
"No my love, we have to get up" I say and kiss her once again and she pouts
"But it's so early" she says
"Ames it's almost 10" I say
"Oh" she sighs and sits up and I began waking Chris up
"Leave me alone!" He shouts and covers his head up
"I don't know why you have been a grouch but it needs to stop" I tell him and he ignores me
"I'll get him up after I get dressed" Amelia says and i nod, letting her do what she wanted to do
Amelia got dressed and tried to wake Chris up and I went downstairs where Addison, Derek and Henry were
"Zona!" Henry smiles and runs over to me and I pick him up, he turned 3 in October but we were so busy with school we weren't able to make it out here for his birthday
"No Amelia and Chris?" Addison ask me and I sigh
"Amelias awake, Chris however is not being cooperative" I say and she smiles and I walk over to them
"How's he been doing with Ryan?" Derek ask
"Fine? He doesn't talk to us about his visits though" I sigh and we could hear Chris whining about something upstairs
"Sounds like you two have your hands full" Derek says and I sigh
"Yea for some reason" I mumble and try to put Henry down but he refuses
"I need to go help auntie Melia, I'll be right back I promise" I tell Henry and he nods and let's me put him down and he goes to Addison and I go upstairs to see Chris still in bed but sitting up
Amelia stood off in the corner looking like she was about to snap so I walked over to her first and kissed her gently which I knew would calm her down, even just a little
"Having trouble?" I ask and she rolls her eyes
"He's lucky my goal is to never be like my mother" she mumbles and I laugh and kiss her again and walk back over to Chris
"Go away" he says and I ignore him
"You can either come downstairs and eat, or you can go in timeout first then come down, so choose" I tell him and he just looks at me
"Now" I tell him sternly and he groans but throws the blanket off of himself and stomps his way out of the room
"If this is the way he is going to act after coming home from Ryan's he's not going to be going over as often" Amelia tells me and I nod and take her hand and we go downstairs with everyone else
