Amelias POV
It's Monday now, meaning I have to go home today.
I have been avoiding my moms calls since I left, I know she is going to be super pissed but oh well
I just dropped Chris off at daycare and headed to school
If I'm being honest, I'm nervous about seeing Arizona, I called her multiple times over the weekend and each time she ignored me
I get she is upset but in the long run it's better for her
Once as school Arizona was already there and I sat down next to her, like I have been doing the entire year and she turned away from me while Linc gave me a weird look
"Now why are you guys mad at each other?" He ask and I shake my head
"I'm not mad" I say
"What happened?" He ask Arizona
"It's none of your business" she snaps and he puts his hands up
One Mrs.Bailey started teaching everyone quieted down
About halfway through my phone started to vibrate, I looked at it quick and seen it was Chris' daycare calling
Since Chris was sick over the weekend I told them he might be a little upset still but he wasn't running a fever
"Mrs.Bailey may I use the restroom?" I ask quickly
"Wait until after this" she says
"It's an emergency I need to go now"'I say and she sighs and waves to the door and I go out and answer the call just in time
"Hello?"
"Amelia, hey it's Regina."
"Is he sick again?"
"He is starting to run a fever again...." She says and I sigh
"Okay... I guess I'll be there soon" I tell her and hang up
How can that kid be fine an hour ago but now he is sick?
"Mrs.Bailey I have to go" I tell her and grab my bag
"Where are you going?" Arizona ask me quietly and I ignore her
"Make sure you finish this before next class" Bailey says and I nod and sign myself out of school so I could go get Chris
Once I walked in I noticed he was laying on the floor in the nursery with his cup next to his head and his butt was In the air
"Is he asleep?" I ask Regina and she nods
"Yea.... I took his temperature and not even 5 minutes later he was out" she says and I sigh and nod
I walked over to him and picked him up without waking him too much
He just whined a little and settled against me
"How long has he been sick for?" She ask me
"Since Saturday, but he was fine this morning or I wouldn't have brought him in the first place" I tell her, not wanting her to think I sent him to daycare running a fever, I'm trying my best here. It's hard to juggle everything
"I know, Amelia you're doing an awesome job. You are holding it together better than some adults that come in here" she says and I smile
"Now get him home and let him rest, " she says
"Thank you" I tell her and take Chris out
I did a mobile pick up for some medicine and some of his snacks since I didn't want to wake him
