Amelias POV
Arizona just got home, after almost 2 days in the hospital,
Ryan has kept Chris for us but brought him to the hospital multiple times to see us
I know we don't get along with Ryan all the time but we really did appreciate the help because I wouldn't have been able to stay with Arizona without him
Right now it's just Arizona and I home with the baby, which we have decided to name her Violet with Addison as her middle name,
We have a two bedroom apartment, which means She will be with us in our room for as long as possible, we really didn't want to rent another apartment since we are leaving for Seattle in a few years and she'll be 3
We can't really let Chris and her share a room since he is so much older, so we will see.
Another apartment might just have to be another conversation in the future
But for now, we get to enjoy the newborn stage, well as much as possible,
Chris still hasn't warmed up to her, which it's only been 2 days so we are hoping it changes soon
"I'm going to take her bag to our room and wash your clothes quick, And I'll be right back" I tell Arizona and she nods and sits on the couch and takes Violet out of her carsest
I dropped the bags off and threw Arizona's clothes she wore to the hospital in the wash and went back out to them and sat down next to arizona
"She's beautiful" I say and Arizona smiles
"Yea she is..... has addison messaged you?" She ask and I roll my eyes while laughing
"Oh yes, she is threatening to fly out now" I chuckle and she smiles
"She does know we'll be there soon for Christmas" she says and I nod
"She does yes," I smile and lean my head against her
"She's probably just excited about her name" Arizona says and I nod
"Yea..... thank you by the way for that" I tell her
"Are you kidding? I love Addison, and anyway to honor her is fine." she says
"What time is Ryan bringing Chris?" She ask me
"Around 3," I tell her and she nods
"We should probably get some sleep then" she says and I nod,
We went back to our room and laid Violet down in her crib and we laid in bed
"Do you think she is okay in there?" Arizona ask worriedly
"Yes, she is safe, she is okay, she won't sleep long and needs fed soon so if you want a nap we should get to that" I say and she nods and lays her head on my shoulder
"I'm sorry I can't" she says and sits up and takes Violet out of her bed and lays her in bed with us
"She would have been okay in the crib" I say and Arizona nods
"I know... but what if she rolls over and suffocates or something?" She ask
"Well she is 2 days old, she isn't rolling over, and secondly her mattress is breathable... unlike ours" I say and she groans
"I know I know," she whispers and keeps her eyes trained on the little body in between us
She kept her hand on Violets stomach, slightly caressing it with her thumb
I knew she was just a little worried so I let her be and cut the television on because I knew we weren't getting any sleep
We stayed in bed for an hour until Violet started to whimper, Arizona quickly sat up and and grabbed her
