Arizona's POV
Today's is Chris' first visit with Ryan, let's just say the morning is already not going well
Chris thew a fit since he wanted to go to daycare, supposedly it's someone's birthday so they are doing a little thing
So he is back in his room calming down while Amelia and I sat in the kitchen
We both have work after his visit so he is going to daycare anyway just not as early as he had hoped
"We have to leave here in half an hour" Amelia sighs and I nod
We were meeting Ryan at a park where him and a social worker will be waiting then the social worker will drop him off afterwards to us
"I'll go get him" I say and she nods and I walk back the hall and Chris was laying on his bed, only in his underwear now while facing the ceiling
"Baby love" I sigh
"I don't want to go with him" he says
"I know, but it's only 2 hours then you can go to daycare" I say
"But now, it's time to get dressed again because we need to go" I say and pick his clothes off the floor that he has been wearing a little bit ago
"But mom!" He exclaims
"But Christopher" I say back and he frowns and sits up
He got dressed without anymore fight and we went back out to Amelia who was standing by the door
"Do I really have to?" Chris ask and ran to Amelia
"You do Bubbas, but you'll come back to me soon" she says and kisses his head and we leave the apartment
I could tell Amelia was stressed, she kept bouncing her leg up and down so I put my hand on her thigh
She smiled at me and put her hand over mine
When we arrived at the park Ryan and the social worker were already there
"Hold me" Chris ask
"Bubbas you don't need us to hold you" Amelia tells him and he crosses his arms
"Okay come on" I say and lift him into my arms
Rather avoid a tantrum right about now
"I'm scared" Chris whispers and I rub his back as we walk over to Ryan
"I know, but that nice lady over there will Make sure you are okay" I say and he nods
"Hi Christopher" Ryan says and he hides his face in my neck
I crouched down and lifted him off of me and took hold of his hands
"You're okay. Me and mama will see you after. I love you so much sweet boy" I say and he hugs me tightly
"I love you too" he says and gives Amelia a hug as well and Chris takes the social workers hand
"I'll come back?" Chris ask us after they began to walk into the park
"Always" we say and he nods and walks with the social worker and Ryan
Once they were completely inside the park Amelia and I left and headed back home
"You want me to make something?" I ask her, Chris had eaten a small breakfast but Amelia and I didn't
"No" she says and goes to the cabinet, pulling out more wine that I didn't even know we had
"Amelia stop" I say and she looks at me
"You're not drinking right now" I tell her, it's not even 11 am yet
"You're not my mother Arizona," she says and goes to get a glass and I walk over to her
"What is this? You're just going to drink all the time now?" I ask her
"I don't drink all the time" she fights back
"You have work in 3 hours Amelia" I tell her
"No... I called out" she says and I scoff as she pours the wine into the glass she had gotten out
"Why would you do that?" I ask
"Because! I wanted to be able to stay with Chris after he got back, I'm too stressed to work right now anyway" she says and I sigh, not wanting to argue with her
"There are other ways to deal with stress rather than drinking" I say
"Yea? Like what?" She ask
"Exercise, sex, sleep and many more" I tell her
"Fine, ill go do one of those then" she says and leaves her half empty glass on the counter and walks back to the bedroom
I dumped the rest of the drink in the glass out and put everything away before walking back to the bedroom to see Amelia almost completely naked
"What are you looking for?" I sigh and lean against the door way
She was in one of the drawers looking for Something
"A toy! Preferably the pink one" she says
"For what?" I ask and she stands up
"You said sex helps with stress, if you're not going to give It to me I will do it myself" she says and sits on the bed and I walk over to her and straddle her lap
"Who said I wouldn't help?" I ask
"You're mad at me" she mumbles and I rest my head against hers
"No baby I'm not" I say
"I know you're upset but, how you have been handling things is not okay, the drinking, the attitude, snapping at me and Chris for no reason" I say and she sighs and puts her hands on my waist
"Im sorry, I just... I have never had to share him, and I know he isn't an object but he is my baby, and now my baby is with a man who doesn't care about him, I don't care what Ryan says. He doesn't want a relationship with Chris, he wants to get under my skin and it's working" she says and I kiss her softly, not wanting to go any further right now
"If he doesn't then you know he won't keep up with the visits and we won't have to worry about it" I say and she nods and I kiss her head and climb off of her lap and take off my clothes, leaving me only in a pair of panties and I put a shirt on and climbed into bed
"I- I don't think I want sex right now" Amelia says with her head down and I smile
"I know, come here" I say and she lays in my arms, her back against my front and I kissed the base of her neck
"I'm sorry" she says
"Don't be sorry, I wouldn't have had sex with you right now anyway" I say
"I thought you weren't mad?" She ask timidly, you could tell she as feeling insecure at that moment
"I'm not, but you're not in the right headspace right now and I refuse to do that, I'm not taking advantage of you in this state" I say and rub my fingers over her stomach and she relaxes into me
"You wouldn't be taking advantage of me... we're engaged" she says
"Engaged or not, i won't ever do anything to you without you being in the right headspace" I say
"Thank you" she whispers
"I love you Amelia" I tell her and wrap my arms around her a little tighter
"I love you too"
