Chapter 46

Amelias POV

Chris has his first all day visit with Ryan today,  I think I am more nervous than he is but let's be real, I have been for all the visits

When we asked him about them we just got very vague answers

Like the first visit he didn't really say anything, the second all we got was an "it's fine" and the same for the third visit

And I know I have been terrible to Arizona this week too, it's not like I mean to, she doesn't deserve any of this though, I definitely don't deserve her

So, since we have the day to ourselves I'm going to give her the engagement ring I had bought. I know we are already engaged but I still want her to have it,

And maybe we can finally have some adult time, we haven't had sex since the night we got engaged. Over 2 weeks ago! We have a pretty healthy sex life, even with Chris so for us to go that long is strange

I mean Chris has been in our room the past few nights, and I know Arizona is getting frustrated with that, And I have been letting him get away with a lot more this week than usual,

I just feel bad, he's had to spend so much time with a stranger

Which leads us to now, the three of us are currently in bed,

"We need to get up" Arizona says and I nod, she was right, Ryan's all day visit goes from 10-7 and it's already 7:30

Chris still needed to get dressed and eat breakfast before he left

We got up and Arizona went to shower while I went to help Chris pick out his clothes because if I didn't they wouldn't match in the slightest

"What are me and Ryan doing?" He ask me after he had gotten dressed

"Um, I think he is taking you to the children's museum after lunch but other than that I'm not sure Bubbas" I say and he nods

"Do you like spending time with Ryan?" I ask him

"It's okay" he says and walks out if the room

I don't want to push him but I'm also nosy and want to know what's going on with my kid

"Alright what do you want for breakfast?" I ask Chris

"Gummies" he says and sits down at the table

"You need to eat something else too" Arizona tells him after coming into the kitchen

"Why? I don't want too" Chris says

"Because, you need more than gummies, do you want cereal or pancakes?" She ask him and he rolls his eyes

"Pancakes" he mumbles and puts his head down on the table

After he ate breakfast the social worker showed up not long after and they left, leaving just me and Arizona in the house

"What did you want to do today?" I ask her and we both sit on the couch

"I'm not sure honey, we can go out for lunch though?" She suggest and I nod

"But, we also need to talk about Chris, he needs to be back in his own room tonight" she says and I nod

"I know, but it's hard to say no after all the changes this week" I say and she nods

"I know, I do and I'm not trying to be mean but it took us long enough last time to get him in his bed and he will not get to that point this time. I'll be the bad guy if you want me too" she says and I move to where I was sitting in her lap
