Arizona's POV
Today's the first day I am keeping Chris while Amelia works,
And it's only because the daycare is closed for renovations for the next few days
She really hates accepting help when it comes to him and I wish she would just let me
Addison watched him while we were in school but then she had to go to work
Or maybe it's just that she doesn't trust me with him, I mean she doesn't mind Addison watching him which is normal so I don't know
"Amelia, we'll be fine, Chris tell mama bye" I say and Chris waves and blows her a kiss
"Bye bye mama" he says and hugs her legs and she bends down to his height
"I love you.... Be a good boy for Zona" she says and kisses his head
"Love you mama" he says and runs back to me and I pick him up
"Okay" Amelia sighs and she kisses me and leaves
"Right baby love, now it's just us" I say and he claps, we are at Amelias now so all of his stuff is here
"Go?" He ask
"Go where?" I ask and he points outside
"Okay. We need to get some more clothes cause it's cold" I say and take him upstairs to get him dressed and we go outside and he plays on the small play set while I sit on the chair and take a picture to send to Amelia
Around half an hour later I decided it was time to go back in since it was starting to get even more cold but Chris was having none of that and ran to the opposite side of the playset when I told him it was time to come in
"Christopher come on baby love" I say
"No!" He yells and I went to pick him up but he just runs and laughs
"It's cold, we can come back out later, why don't we go in and get a snack" I suggest and he shakes his head
"Play now" he says
"No baby love, you can play inside" i say and he crosses his arms and sits down
I sigh and picked him up and took him inside as he cried
"Here baby love" I say and hand him his cup that Amelia had filled before she left and he threw it
"No, that's not nice" I say and he pouts
I picked the cup up and sat it on the counter while i got him a snack and he brought his blanket to me and lifted his arms
"Mmhm that's what I thought" I chuckle and pick him up, I took his extra layers off and we sat on the couch and he cuddled up to me and yawned
"You better not fall asleep" I say and tickle his sides and he laughs
If he were to fall asleep now he wouldn't sleep tonight and Amelia would kill me
We watched a little tv until he got off of me and went to play on the floor
A few minutes later he comes back to me with a pack of gummies
"Mama help!" He says and I freeze,
"Baby love mamas not here" I say and he shakes his head
"Mama help! Mama!" He yells and gives me the gummies
"Chris buddy say Zona, I'm Zona. Not mama" I say and he just stomps his feet and I open the gummies and give them to him
"Thank you" he says and climbs into my lap and he eats while my kind keeps going back to what he just said
