Arizona's POV
"Amelia?" I question and she looks to me and smiles
"I was thinking, you, and Chris make me so so happy, I absolutely love spending time with the both of you, I know we do some things already but, will you be my girlfriend?" I ask and her smile drops
"I- I'm sorry Arizona.... But no" she says
At first I thought she was joking but she kept a straight face
"What?" I ask and she looks down at Chris and back up at me with tears in her eyes
"I- I can't Arizona" she says and I frown, feeling my own eyes starting to water
"Why not?" I ask
"I have a kid, and.... You're 16, you don't need to be with someone with a kid" she tells me
"Amelia" I say and she starts putting the stuff on the blanket away
"I want this, I know you have Chris, and I love you guys" I say and she shakes her head
"Arizona please, just stop" she says and I help put the rest of the stuff in the basket and in the back of her car
"I have another way home" I tell her after she put Chris in the car
"Arizona" she says
"No, no just- I need space Amelia" I tell her
"What about everything we had? I mean do you just go around kissing and making out with all of your friends?" I ask her and she looks down
"Arizona" she repeats and I shake my head
"I'll see you at school Monday" I tell her and walk down the street until I got to a small diner
Tim is coming to get me, I had messaged him while Amelia was putting Chris in the car
I don't understand what I did wrong. We act like a couple but; she just said no
Like everything we had wasn't there
I don't know what to do now, I feel like I lost something
I knew Tim was right, I shouldn't have gotten attached to Amelia
I laid my head on the table until tim arrived and I walked out and got into his car
"Do you want me to beat her up?" He ask and I smile
"No," I chuckle and I sigh and lean my head against the window
"What happened?" He ask me
"I asked Amelia to be my girlfriend and she said no" I tell him
"Why?" He ask and I shrug
"I don't know, I mean she can kiss me all she wants but when it comes to being in a relationship she just! Ugh" I exclaim
"I did tell you not to fall for the straight girl" he says and I frown
"She's not straight" I mumble and stay quiet while Tim drives us home
Amelias POV
I can't believe I did that
She looked so broken when she walked away from me
I hurt her
I didn't mean to, but she doesn't understand
She's just 16, she doesn't deserve to be held down by me, and Chris. She doesn't deserve to spend her teenage years with someone who has to take after a child everyday
