Arizona's POV
I'm 37 weeks pregnant and we go to have my cerclage stitch removed in a few days
Chris is not happy about having a little sister, he wants us to have a boy instead
We're at home now, back in school and it's pretty grueling but just in 3 years we'll be home in Seattle
Amelia and I have talked about baby names and we can't even find a name we like which sucks, she will be here so soon and she doesn't even have a name.
We're all sitting at home, I am on the couch with my shirt pulled up, I could see how the baby was moving inside me
It was scary but so cool at the same time
I felt her kick me and I placed my hand right on the spot she kicked and she did it again and I laughed
Chris and Amelia both came in from the kitchen to see what I was laughing at
"Look" I say and push on my stomach a little and she kicks me again
"That's so creepy" Chris laughs and hides his eyes and Amelia comes over to me
"How you feeling?" She ask me
"Um, you know now that you mentioned it my stomach has been hurting a little today, kind of like cramps" I say
I have just been ignoring it
"That's not supposed to happen right?" Amelia ask worriedly
"I'm not sure, I mean it's not bad where I can't handle it, just cramps and a little burning near my cervix a little" i mention to her
"Um... is that labor?" She ask and I chuckle
"No, of course not, I'm not even due for another 3 weeks, and it doesn't hurt that bad" i shrug
"I'm calling Addison anyway" she says and walks away to her her phone, she's really just over reacting now
Chris came back out and sat right next to me
He got a little upset once my stomach got big because he couldn't sit in my lap the way he used to be able to do
"Can you give her away and get a boy instead?" Chris ask
"No baby love, you are going to love being a big brother to her" I assure him
"I don't think so" he mumbles and Amelia comes back over to us
"Did she answer?" I ask Amelia and she nods
"She said we need to go get it checked, if you are In labor with the stitch still it can damage your cervix" she says
I didn't think of that, or much of anything really
"I already called your OB and she is going to meet us at the hospital" Amelia says
"And what do you suppose us do with Chris?" I ask, he's not going to want to sit in the hospital for forever
"He's just going to have to sit still for a little" she says and I nod
"Where are we going?" Chris ask
"To the doctor, can you go get your shoes?" I ask him and he nods and grabs his shoes from his room
"You're being a little ridiculous" I tell Amelia
"I don't care" she says and I sigh, knowing there was no way I could stop her now
We made it to the hospital and my OB was already there and took us to a room immediately
"Okay, everything off below the waist and I will check to be sure about you going into labor" she says and I nod and take off my pants and panties and covered myself since Chris was sitting on Amelias phone
