Amelias POV
We are heading to Seattle for 3 weeks today, Chris is so excited he woke us up before 6:30 this morning even if our flight isn't until later
"Mama! Come on let's go" Chris says from the living room
"Chris bubs we can't yet, we are not sitting in the airport for hours, go play a game and make sure you have everything packed" I tell him and he groans and goes back to his room while Arizona and I made breakfast
"He's excited" she smiles
"Yea until we get there and he wants to come home because he is jealous of Henry again" I chuckle and she laughs
"Oh it will happen, but he will be fine" she says and I nod and wrap my arms around her waist
"Mmhm" I hum and kiss her neck
"I love you" I whisper and she turns her head to kiss me
"I Love you too" she says and continues cooking
After breakfast we had put all of our bags at the door while we waited on the taxi to show up
"Mama! I can't find my shoes" Chris yells from his room and I groan
"I told you to get them hours ago!" I yell
Back the hall and someone knocks on the door
"Christopher your shoes are under the table" Arizona tells him and I answer the door, there stood a guy with a Manila envelope in his hand
"Amelia shepherd?" He ask
"Yes?" I question and be hands me the envelope
"Here you go, have a nice day" he tells me and walks away
"What the" I mumble and open the envelope
"What is it?" Arizona ask me
"Ryan is suing for custody" I scoff and throw the papers on the table
"What? Should we just stay here? What do we do?" She ask me
"We go to Seattle. We will find a lawyer, but for now we don't say anything to Chris" I say and she nods and grabs the papers
"What are you doing?" I ask
"We're taking them just in case" she says and I sigh and look down to my phone
"The car is here" I say and she nods and calls for Chris
He comes out to us smiling and grabs his backpack
"Ready!" He smiles happily and I kiss his head and we head out to our taxi
I can't believe Ryan would actually do this, he doesn't want to be a dad, Ryan can't be a dad. He just- he is doing it just to get at me
He is going after my son, mine. Not his. He has no rights to Chris, he never wanted him. He didn't want him 7 years ago so why should he be able to know him now
"Hey.... Look at me" Arizona says and puts her hand on my thigh, calming me down instantly
"I got you, everything will be okay," she says and I nod and place my hand on top of hers
When we got to the airport Chris was Jumping with excitement
"Bubbas," I chuckle
"I'm sorry! I'm just sooo happy" he says and I smile
"I'm glad you're happy but we have just a little until we get on the plane so why don't we try calming down a little?" I ask and he nods and takes my hand
