What To Do?

There was this feeling that they were being watched after Kira's Mom had revealed that information however what also intrigued them all more was when she revealed that they also may have found Kim's hide out which was deeper in the woods.

Kira's Dad refused this and stubbornly believed it was someone else's hide out, that Kim had nothing to do with this.

Scott had said grimly he hoped he was corrected but doubted it.

They walked deeper into the woods, following Kira's moms lead.

As they walked Scott slowly started to walk next to Stiles. Stiles just didn't no what to say, how could he ever begin to apologise to them all? Why were the words stuck in his throat?

There was a couple of minutes of tense silence between them before Scott, to Stiles relief finally started to talk. He just wanted to get this out of the way.

"Stiles... I wanted you to know that I don't blame you"

Stiles looked at him in shock but that tone of voice made him feel wary.

Scott didn't elaborate and just looked down at the ground as they walked so Stiles couldn't help but say nervously "I sense there's a but coming..."

Scott let out a reluctant sigh as finally looked at Stiles and said "But I need you to choose between your wolf and your fox soon. If that's what's causing the issues with your control then you need to fix it"

The or else was left unsaid but Stiles heard it loud and clear, all he could do was swallow down his tears and nod, he couldn't think of what else to say to make things better.

But if he finally chose, that would make everyone feel better? Maybe he would feel more in control but while it sounded easy, it definitely wasn't.

Both has their strengths and weaknesses.

If he became a Nogisune he'd struggle even more with his hunger, he wasn't sure if he would keep his current strength or he would become a completely normal Nogisune, would he loose his tail? He didn't want that, it definitely didn't feel right. Yet perhaps he would just stay with his current power and just wouldn't feel the instincts of the werewolf inside of him, just the trickery and slyness of the fox.

Apart from the hunger, the order draw back would be the fact Nogisune's were basically immortal, well not really but they lived such long lives, was he prepared to outlive all his friends apart from Kyle and Kira. He shuddered at the thought of leaving Scott behind, standing at his grave one day...

Now the werewolf side of him also had strengths and weaknesses. If he became a werewolf he likely would be a blue eyed beta. The flecks of blue in his eyes Stiles sometimes saw made him sure of that. When he had been possessed he had killed and it seems whatever it was that decided on a werewolves eye colour didn't distinguish if you had done it against your will or not.

He did like the idea of being part of the pack, feeling even closer to the other wolves yet at the same time he personally wasn't a fan of the alpha, beta dynamic. Thankfully his fox side blocked it from effecting him but he still didn't like the idea of it. Yet as a wolf he would live the same lives as most of them.

"I know you probably want me to become a werewolf" Stiles said to Scott, finally feeling his throat wasn't so closed up he couldn't talk "while it does have its perks, I'm not sure. You're my friend first and foremost Scott, not my leader and I don't want to have to be forced to feel anything else"

Scott frowned as he said, not sounded offended or insulted "I don't see it as forced. It's still a choice"

"Yet if I don't accept you as my leader, I'll be an omega and I don't want that either" Stiles replied then he added, thinking it more through "And the full moon definitely isn't something I want to repeat even if I manage to get more control over myself after some time"

Scott gave Stiles a small half smile as he said "Well it looks like we all know what side your going towards"

But could Stiles really choose that?

"The long life though" Stiles said hesitantly.

"The long life of a Kitsune sounds good to me" Scott said shrugging, not really thinking about it.

"Does it?" Stiles asked, his voice solum.

A look of realisation dawned on Scott's face but before he could say anything about Stiles fears they came to a halt.

They had walked into a large clearing and a large yet crumbling building stood before them. It looked like at some point it must have been an old wear house.

It also has some stairs in front of the building, leading down underneath.

They walked slowly towards the stairs, looking around warily.

Everyone glanced down into the darkness. The stairs going down so low they could not see the ending.

"So...who wants to go first?" Kyle asked with a nervous laugh.

Everyone looked at him.

"Oh no" He muttered.
