Puzzle.

Five, ten or one million of pieces, once combined gives life to a random material, landscape, portrait or even an imaginary artwork of thoughts.

It's hard to give life to a thing you don't even know about, something powerful yet indescribable. You have to assemble every pieces to give life, and if one, just a little piece is missing, it would be incomplete

Meaningful yet lifeless.

That's how Jungkook felt went he stepped into his house, he took a deep breathe maybe to catch that faint scent he longer to smell again, the scent was there but the owner not.

Total silent.

He didn't know since when Taehyung had this huge influence in his life, since when he felt so empty, so dull, like he missed his last piece of puzzle. It's been one week and he was desperately down like there was a part of his life gone for a period of time. He looked around like capturing every corner the younger could have been touching, anywhere he could remember his presence

He missed Taehyung.

They didn't talk for the whole week, more like they couldn't. Jungkook was busy with his first time heading their company, he still had a lot to know, a lot to learn, a lot to control, a lot to handle.

His week was just a lot.

He was tired, from work obviously but seems like his mind is succombing on another level of exhaustion when all he could do was thinking about his husband.

Taehyung, Taehyung, Taehyung.

The younger was on his period of exam so he told Jungkook that he'd be at Jimin's for the meantime, to help each other reviewing he seemed to say

But Jungkook felt like Taehyung had gone sleeping over, no, moving forward another place he couldn't reach. He felt so pathetic to react this way

He knew he was overreacting.

But what he didn't had a clue about was that this house would feel so empty without him, not wanting to tell he was empty himself. Maybe they weren't having a proper kind of relationship if not having at all but he couldn't help but to miss him and his presence in this silent house

A home was supposed to be a place you feel safe, where you can find peace when everything outside is suffocating, where you can feel happy without trying, where you feel warm and cherry

And Taehyung was his home.

As if the great mother wasn't on his side, his phone suddenly rang. He smiled brightly once he looked at the ID

"Hey my love"

Hey Jungkookie are you home?

"Yeah just arrived from work"

Okay i'm on my way!

"What? Why? Wait, Mia-"

Jungkook frowned looking at his phone when the call bruptly ended, he tried to remind himself what had he done to make his girlfriend in a hurry to talk with him like that

Maybe another matter, i didn't do anything wrong this time

Minutes or so after, he heard the doorbell and got up immediadely to open the door, revealing Mia smiling brightly as a sunlight but she was shivering, maybe from the freaking cold outside

"Hi!" she exclaimed as he jumped into his strong arms

"Hey little monkey" he chuckled and pecked her forehead before putting her down

"Oh you're alone?" she said roaming around the house and found it too silent

"Yeah, he's at his friend's"
