Colossians 3:17

And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.

1 Corinthians 10:31

So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God

Colossians 3:23-25

²³ Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, ²⁴ since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving. ²⁵Anyone who does wrong will be repaid for their wrongs, and there is no favoritism.

Dealing with our relatives is another level of challenge. There will be times that their behaviors will conflict with ours.

But if there's something I learned from my own experience is that I don't have to stress out myself because of them. Ang kalat ng mesa and I tried to keep calm.

Yes, gusto kong magreklamo but then God reminded of these bible verses (above). Oo I have the right to complain and confront them pero kagabi kasi I prayed to God bigyan Niya pa ako ng pasensya. He asked me, "What do you have in there?" Then I told Him "my relatives."

And that's when I realized sometimes God doesn't directly give us the things we prayed for. Sometimes He uses other people to bless us and to teach us. Just like I shared before, hindi ako mapasensyang tao at ayoko talaga sa makalat na paligid lalo na sa bahay. Ayokong taga-sunod ako ng kalat ng iba. But then this morning, muli na namang nasubok ang pasensya ko.

Whenever I feel unmotivated or labag sa kalooban ko ang kumilos, my heart reminds me that I am doing the work for the Lord. I am doing it to please God, and not men. Isa pa, in this kind of situation, tinuturuan tayo ng Diyos na maging mapagkumbaba at mas lalong lumapit sa Kanya. Kasi even if we are seemingly doing the right thing but without love, we are doing it for nothing. Sayang lang. At the end of the day, wala pa ring saysay iyon. That is why it is important that whatever we do, we do it for the glory of God. We do it for the Lord kasi siya ang tunay nating Master.

I'm not saying mali na ang mag-complain. God knows everything. In that way, we empty ourselves. We pour out our hearts to Him and we let Him fill us; we let Him overflow in us.

Personally, my motivation in this kind of situation is to look up and remember who God is. Is there anything too hard for Him? He's not worried with anything, so why should we worry? Because we know that every good deed, may reward from God. And huwag nating isipin na kawawa tayo.

Good morning everyone! To God be all the glory forever!
