Prayer works powerfully

Philippians 4:6-7 6 Don't worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. 7 Then you will experience God's peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.

This testimony happened last February 3, 2023. Mag-iisang buwan na rin pala haha.

Anyway, I just want to share you guys what God amazingly did to me that day. My mother asked me if I pwede ba na ako pa rin ang magbabayad ng SSS nila ni tita since nasa isang bayan lang naman 'yong location ng boarding house ko at 'yong SSS office. I said "yes" even if kinabukasan niyan is may meeting ako sa dgroup 9am tapos 'yong office hour ng SSS hindi ko alam. 

Fast forward maaga ako gumising kinabukasan, still thinking if I can join on time the meeting. Yet, I prayed for it. I prayed God will orchestrate everything. Tapos I was thinking also saan ako pupwesto sa school na walang students masyado para 'di ako distraction sa kanila at ganun din sila sa akin.

By 7am nakarating na ako ng SSS office. 8 am pala ang office hours nila. Number 40 'yong binigay sa akin ng guard tapos nagfill-up ako ng dalawang form kasi dalawang account babayaran ko. After everything hanap na ako ng pwesto.

Habang naghihintay ako sa oras, iniisip ko rin kung makakaabot pa kaya ako kasi 8am na tapos 9am meeting ko. So, I prayed to God. I just entrusted everything to God na sana mabilis 'yong kilos ng mga tao hahaha. Then while waiting bandang #5 na, may tumawag sa'kin tapos tinanong ako kung magbabayad ba ako ng contribution. Sabi ko 'oo' tapos binigay niya sa akin 'yong number niya.

Guess what??? from 40 to 14??? WOW! What a favor!!! sobrang amazed ako sa ginawa ni Lord! Makikita natin dito na if our heart is right with the Lord (that means we humble down in prayer) He will really amaze us beyond what we asked. Gusto ko lang talaga bumilis 'yong kilos ng mga employee (thankfully dalawa naman sila) pero the way God heard my prayer was beyond I could ever think. 

sooo ayon bilis ng transaction even if may conflict sa bayarin kasi tumaas na pala contribution so may naiwan kaming months na di nabayaran. bale binayaran namin is pang January. still!!  hihi salamat sa Diyos!

after that I prayed to God may masakyan ako papuntang school kasi 8:30 na rin 'yon halos. I still had enough time to prepare and looked for a space. Then paglabas ko ng mall, just seconds to minute lang pag-abang ko then nakapara na agad ako ng tricycle. 2 points na si Lord hahaha.

Until nakarating ako ng school, I prayed to God, "Lord, sana may mahanap akong maupuan na comfortable din ako." Then I went to Bates Building and indeed God provided a space for me. :)

Haysss grabe si Lord no? Always available in times of need natin. If we will just ask God and believe that He will move, He will really move beyond what we asked from Him. Kaya naman sabi ni Apostle Paul na "do not worry about anything. Instead pray about everything." God wants us to lean on Him; to trust Him in everything kasi nandiyan naman Siya para tumulong. Ang gusto ni Lord i-include natin Siya sa lahat ng gagawin natin. 

This might be a small thing for others but for me this is an extraordinary moving of God in my life. Imagine how much a God-dependent person is highly favored by God. Kaya I really encourage you to pray for everything. Invite God in all the things that you want to do; to guide you, to keep you safe and to favor you. When you dream and plan, pray it to God. Surrender to Him. Sabi nga sa Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and he will make your paths straight.
