You won't probably believe that I struggle with God for the whole week! As in! Feeling ko I am not good enough for Him. Feeling ko useless ako. Feeling ko disobedient ako... name it all! I feel like if I don't do this then God will be disappointed or He will not bless me. I feel so stuck and so disappointed with my life!
However, as I keep on processing this battle within me, servants of God can really be a big help to us kasi andoon 'yong anointing ni God sa kanila and every word they spoke, they really spoke God's word. And then kanina as I was doing something I was also trying to express how I feel towards God and then boom! the Holy Spirit reminded me of Romans 5:8 But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
God made me realize that I don't need to earn His love and favor by doing some religious stuff. Kasi nga naman 'no? God already loved us EVEN BEFORE we know Him, we love Him and we serve Him. Well, I get it that we want to please God but pleasing Him on our own efforts will only make us frustrated kasi apart from God's grace wala naman tayong magagawa.
And I will keep on reminding myself that I don't need to earn God's love kasi mahal na Niya ako at 'yon ang totoo. Mahal tayo ni God and nothing can separate us from His love through Jesus. And if we want to please God, then we do it humbly and always remember that the greatest thing we can do to please God is to make Him known to others. He wants us to share His love to other people. Let us continue sharing the Word of God, serve Him heartily and sincerely. No pretense. As the Bible says, "I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength."
