The tense silence that settled over the bus when both Dave and Cherrie finally step foot on it made even him slightly uncomfortable, glancing up and around the bus to see similar frowns of both annoyance and concern being aimed towards her, as well as bewildered looks once they noticed Dave following after her .
Chewing on the inside of his cheek as he gently brushed past Cherrie and wandered over to the small kitchen , grabbing himself a bottle of beer ... before pausing and deciding to make them both something to eat as well.
