my body is paralyzed
with a crushing weight
that i cannot locate
sheet slid halfway off the bed
and i will not rise to fix it
my limbs are frozen
irises are empty
spirit is torn from herself
i waste away
minute by minute
void of energy
void of life
who will fix me now?
