haven of the nocturnal sea
pull me closer to your body
your tranquil wind dances through my hair
aroma of salt and an indescribable sense of home
i reminisce of the melodies i used to sing upon this shore
many phases of life i spent in this sand
toes curled up
nose in a book
watching the vastness of the ocean i cannot fathom through vision
and i wonder
when does it end
and could i reach it

what treasures and creatures
mysteries and secrets
do you hide in your depth?

may i escape reality for one night?
