Chapter 29

Erin

"I'm confused." Erin let out as she walks in where Migz is at.

"About what?" He asked as soon as he sees her confused face.

"That guy just now. Isn't he from Benedict?"

Migz stared at Erin for a few seconds. And just looking at her, he could tell how baffled Erin is right now. She'd probably seen Blake and Migz understand how she's feeling after that.

He started nodding his head. "Yah. That was Blake."

"Blake?"

"Why? Haven't you heard of him?" He isn't leaving his eyes to Erin even until he reaches for his seat. But Erin shook her head.

"No, I have no idea who that was."

It took Migz a while to realize Erin got zero idea how is Raven and Blake related to each other, which makes it even more surprising.

"Well, Blake and Raven are brothers." He said with a worn out expression. The completely opposite expression Erin wore in the face the moment she realize what Migz said.

"What?! You mean siblings? They're siblings?"

As expected, Erin is above shock than she's supposed to. It seemed hard to believe that Erin had to process another time what Migz said.

"It's very funny how you know him earlier than I do but you know nothing about him and Blake."

"It's not that I do care to know everything about him." She rolls her eyes and Migz only chuckle as he looked at Erin's confused face.

Migz's right but, Erin was only twelve back then when he first met Raven. Although she's been curious with Raven ever since before, she couldn't recall Raven had mentioned anything about his life despite them being close with each other before.

At this point, Erin began comprehending things between Blake and Raven. She's beginning to realize they do resembles each other. They do looked like each other.

Now she knows why Blake looks familiar the first time she met Blake and turns out to be Raven's brother. But as she came to think about things a lot deeper, questions starts forming her head. She gets confused a lot more than she's already.

"But I don't understand. That guy. He saved me once when I came to meet Basher. Isn't he working for Benedict?"

For a moment Raven stared at Erin and smiled. What Erin said had only made him believe his suspicions are correct.

"What are you smiling? Hold on. This is confusing me. I mean, they're siblings. But why is it seemed like they're holding grudge between each other? How did this this happened?"

Migz only chuckled by how Erin's getting so much confused.

"I shouldn't be the one to answer that question." Erin crossed her arm and stared at him for few moments before she spun and started taking steps.

"Where are you going now?"

"Isn't it obvious? I'll find someone who will." She finished her sentence as she gets out of the room and Migz was unable to stop her as soon as the door closed.

Now that he's told Erin about Blake means Erin's gonna get even more suspicious what else are they hiding from her. Not like there's any but it's better this way. Erin would now understand the situation even more.
