"Hey guys! Watch this!"
Everyone's heads turned to Simeon, who was standing at the top of the Pool's diving board.
When he saw that he had everyone's attention, he made a big leap, and cannonballed into the water. A big splash erupted, the droplets flying far enough to splash them all in the face.
When Simeon came back up, he was laughing hysterically. "This is so fun!"
"Woahh! I want to try that!!" Luke excitedly told MC, wiping the water off his face. "Simeon! That was so cool!" He yelled out, waving his arms.
"Thanks!" The older Angel called back.
MC chuckled at the exchange, then looked down at Luke. "I can show you how to cannonball, if you want."
"Okay!" He chimed. "Uhm, I'm kind of hungry though. All this swimming and hot weather has me tired out."
They nodded, feeling the same way. "Yeah, let's go get food for everyone."
The duo went over to their friends to ask what they each wanted from the concession stand.
"I'll take a soft-pretzel with cheese and a blueberry smoothie," Solomon requested.
"Can I please have a watermelon smoothie and a slice of cheese pizza?" Simeon politely asked.
Now with Solomon's and Simeon's orders, MC and Luke dried off and headed out to the nearby food stand.
"What're you going to get, Luke?"
Luke put a hand to his chin as he deeply contemplated. "I don't know yet! Human snacks are all so yummy! I think I'll definitely get a mango ice cream, though."
"Good call," they nodded.
Fortunately the line wasn't too long, and once they got to the cashier window, there was an overhang to shield them from the sun.
Luke relayed the entire order perfectly, and when it was time to pick everything up, he tried to take it all himself.
"Let me hold some stuff, Luke. You can't get it all by yourself..."
"I've got it!" He insisted, attempting to hold two smoothies in one arm, along with Simeon's pizza.
Since this seemed like a disaster waiting to happen, MC hastily took the rest of the places and ice cream before Luke could.
"Aw," he mumbled.
Seeing Luke's disappointed face, they thought to offer some words of wisdom. "It's more responsible to ask other people for help sometimes, instead of going about all on your own, you know? If we both work together then there's less of a chance we'll drop anything."
He thought about it for a bit, and then it seemed to uplift his mood. "Yeah, you're right!"
.
.
."Delivery!" MC called out upon their return.
"Oh hey!" Solomon greeted. He and Simeon swam out of the water, taking their things into their hands.
Simeon playfully bumped his arm against Luke's to get his attention. "What did you end up getting?"
Luke happily held his tray up. "Pepperoni pizza!"
"And mango ice cream," MC added on.
"What a combo," Simeon complimented. His serene expression suddenly changed as though he had remembered something. "Oh! Everyone, remember to re-apply your sunscreen! And drink lots of water!" As he spoke, he was intensely staring at Solomon, since he tended to burn up the easiest between all of them.
Solomon pretended not to notice.
"Did you hear that Solomon?" Luke implored. "Reapply your sunscreen! I don't want to see you all red and flakey like last time!"
"Yeah, of course. When I'm done eating," he said. "Thanks guys."

A/N- I love the Purgatory Hall group, it's like two grandparents and their kid
I also imagine angels are the most resilient to sunlight, since it's always sunny in the celestial realm. It would also make sense for them to have a higher percentage of people with darker skin to adapt to this, with tones varying by region.
