Chaos. That's what the whole remainder of November was. Chaotic in a good way because the news spread like wildfire around the family and around work. It was bizarre.
We told our families first which was hilarious. Louis had someone on his team photoshop our faces to the body of Katherine Heigl and Seth Rogen on the Knocked Up movie poster. He mailed it to both of our family's households and they went absurd.
Mum called me up 2 weeks after, Louis' mum called him the week after that at work which he said made him look like an idiot for grinning so widely, Karen texted me a 'Congratulations!' and a couple of my relatives sent me emails and stuff.
Even just the week after we found out was crazy. Blaine and I went to meet up Louis at QIU. When we entered the stadium, we got surrounded by a group of sweaty young men singing Justin Bieber's 'Baby'. Louis was nowhere to be found that time but when he got out of the locker room, his whole team ran back to the field. I've heard he was getting tougher on them since they almost lost the game to TUA that Monday as well.
Friday I met Perrie after work. Milly picked me up at the studio and complained that 'shes one of the last people to find out' and for a moment I thought she was so offended when she found out Louis' team knew first than she did.
Today is the last first Saturday of December. Nothing crazy happened, yet. I doubt that this day is going to be normal, however. Louis and I are going to go around the list of apartment buildings we've been able to look up. Perrie and Zayn are meeting with us on our first stop because all the while they've been living in Perrie's apartment near the country.
They rarely come to the city that's why we haven't seen them in a while. Milly kept asking why they're not married yet and bugged Perrie about making the first move which made her feel nervous onwards.
"Perrie said they'll meet us at the first estates." Louis tells me.
"Where is that, exactly?" I ask him.
"It's the one near your office." He says, looking very triumphant.
"Well that's considerate." I say, trying not to sound too sarcastic. "How many apartments are we going around to?"
"Five. That's a lot considering they're in totally separate buildings." He says, turning to a familiar street that I pass by most of the time to go to work. "Far away from each other, actually."
I pick up his phone on the windshield and scrolled through his list. The first one I've seen it because it's about 5 blocks away from the office and not that far from the studio. The second I also recognise because it's close to QIU; give it around a 5-10 minute drive. The third and fourth one I have no idea where these are but it sounds grand. The fifth one is the one near our current building, so he says.
He pulls into the parking lot of a series of identical buildings in one massive street. The houses are all white and black with black metal gates. The only thing that's different from each house is the golden plaque on the black doors that tells you the house-number.
Stood on the steps is a middle aged woman in a grey business suit with a large messenger bag. Her glasses are already set on the tip of her nose and she constantly pushes them upwards.
"That's our real estate agent." Louis says, looking at some papers on his lap. "Ms. Shaw..." He says, grinning. "Yeah that's her. Come on." He says, getting out of the car in an instant. When I got out, Louis' already chatting up the real-estate agent.
Just then, a black Mercedes parked right beside ours. Perries bright blonde hair stands out even through the tinted glass in the passenger seat. She looks up and waves at me frantically.
