"Everyone's inside?" I ask her. The four of us go in the ballroom together.
"Yes... Have you met Em's boyfriend yet?" she asks and I shake my head. Holly laughs and her arm tightens around mine.
"What?" I ask her.
"Nothing, he's really good looking." she says, wriggling her eyebrows. I chuckle a we reach the door to the ballroom. It's got Em's face on the door. I barely recognize my own sister. I can barely accept the fact that she's no longer a child but on the road to being a young adult.
When we enter the room, I feel Blaine's hand tighten on mine. I was stopped when his wrapped his arm around my leg. Holly looks down and smiles down. "He doesn't like big crowds." I say.
"You two go ahead, we'll catch up." Louis says, kneeling to Blaine's height. I smile at him before Holly pulls me inside.
I see familiar faces everywhere. I see our grand mother, aunt Cecile and Peter in one table with some friends. I see a couple of Em's friends who waves at me as I pass them. My eyes catch the attention of Louis sisters, Daisy and Phoebe, sat beside two young boys. Louis' going to flip when he sees this.
"There's Em." Holly tugs my arm. I turn around and see my sister sat in a table with mum and Rick.
She's grown up so fast. I'm no longer looking at the little 10 year old who dragged me to the stadium that summer. I'm looking at a more refined, sophisticated young lady. Em's hair is tied in a high ponytail, her hair's curled. There's a small chain necklace around her neck with a round pendant. She laughs, the same way she always laughs. She lifts her head and turn to our direction. Her smile widens. She stands up and walks over to us, her heels clink on the tiled floor. She and I are the same height now, it's unbelievable.
"Look at you" I say in amusement. She looks down nervously, fiddling with the skirt of her dress. I chuckle and lift her chin up. "Em, you look so beautiful." I tell he making her smile.
"Thank you. The dress is kind of short though and it's not really my style..." she rambles on. She stops when she notices me shake my head.
"You look really beautiful." I say and I pull her in a hug. She laughs but hugs me tighter, eventually. When we pull away from each other, she squeezes my hand.
"Are Blaine and Louis here too?" She asks, looking around. Blaine's around the corner with his dad and another boy around his age. I tug Em's arm and nod to the direction of Blaine.
"Aww, cute. Oh, are you staying late tonight?" she asks, her lips twitching into a smile.
"Arent I too old to join you?" I ask her making her laugh.
Em, Holly, Phoebe and Daisy are going to a club in London tonight. Louis told me a couple of weeks ago.
"Cause..." she takes a step closer and leans into my ear. "Mum and Rick won't let us go if you're not going." she says through a gritted teeth, making me laugh.
"Wont she?" I say in amusement and I can't help but smile.
She rolls her eyes, shes getting annoyed. "Well it's either mum or you." she says, her eye widening.
"Oh, so I'm going to be your nanny for the night?" I say sarcastically.
"Meg, come on! I only have my birthday once a year." she complains and I burst into laughter.
"What's so wrong with mum going with you?" I ask her. Her eyes widen at me. Of course I know what she's talking about, Tyler's coming too. She doesn't want mum to come along because... Well, it's awkward.
