Would you be interested if I put out a preference on Meg and Louis' children's personalities?
~~~
The whole house is in massive chaos. Especially with three kids and a teenager running around, it's a blur. I wonder if the neighbours are getting tired and pissed off of hearing the noise from us.
Today is the day. It's 5 in the morning and we're preparing to go to Cornwall. Summer and Seth barely slept since we told them about the trip and that was not good because they were the first ones to wake up today; 3 in the bloody morning!
"Mum!" I whirled around when I hear Summer shout. Seth was chasing her with a worm on a stick.
"Wha-" Summer his behind the car as Seth got closer, the worm wriggling at the end of the stick. Summer shrieked, causing Blaine to get out from the car, throwing the stick on the ground.
"That's not funny." Blaine tell his brother sternly who slumps his shoulders in shame. I walk around the car, telling all of them to go inside.
"No fighting." I tell Seth and Summer sternly.
Summer scoots closer to the window, trying to sit as far away from Seth as possible. Blaine and Louise are sat together in the front row as I sat in the passenger seat. Louis walks out of the front door with his duffel bag over his shoulder. He gets in the driver's seat and asks Blaine to put his bag on the floor in front of him and Louise.
"Seat belts on everyone." Louis announces as he turns the car on. There were numerous clicking of seat belts as Louis pulls out of the driveway. He pushes the button on the radio and it comes to life. "Cornwall, here we come."
As excited as they all are to be going on a road trip, they fell asleep not even halfway to the journey. The twins, even though they're in a fight, fell asleep with their heads leaning to each other. Blaine's blocked the whole world out with his earphones on and a book on his lap. Louise has been quiet all through out, just staring out her window.
Just as we enter Bristol, Summer announces she has to use the toilet. After the toilet stop, the car was never quiet again.
Louis and I had to endure nearly two more hours of extensive wailing before we finally reach Cornwall.
"All right! We're here!" Louis announces. Summer and Seth were the first ones out. They kept slapping the back door of the car, telling Louis to unlock it. "Jesus Christ, what is wrong with them!"
I chuckled as I follow them out. I grab the bag for the tents and gave them for Blaine to put up. It took a while to set up the tents but when it was done, it gave us time to do something more fun.
"All right you turds!" I look up when I hear Louis' familiar booming voice, the same voice he uses when he's around his team.
He goes in front of the kids, holding a football on his hip, staring them down. I smirk and got up, standing behind Blaine with my arms crossed.
He spins the ball on his finger, catching the all the kids' attention. He turns to me and winks. I scoffed and rolled my eyes.
"Are we gonna play, daddy?" Summer pipes up, brushing the hair away from her face and hooks it behind her ear.
"No," Seth groans, lying down on the sand. He's not a very sporty kid. "I don't wanna move...." He complains, beating his leg agains the sand.
"I'll play." Blaine stands up, snatching the ball from Louis.
Having been trained at 4 years old, the sport has a place in his heart. And he's excellent, he's very good. Louis just lights up every time Blaine scores a goal. He doesn't have to say that he's proud, it's made out on his face with his smile. It makes us both proud watching him play for his school.
