We spent a short while in Louis' old home. His mum told me about the event with his father next month. The reason why he wants Louis to come because his sister turns 20 next month and Jay wants me to be there to keep him 'civilized'. The last time he went to an event with his dad, it went horribly wrong.

Let's say a few horrible words were exchanged and he went overboard.

Jay made sure when she told me that he wasn't around. He spent the time with Lottie and Fizzy giving Fizzy a heads up with university, making his sister grumble at his over protectiveness.

"He's always been very protective of them, even more protective than I am." Jay tells me as Fizzy complained to her brother at how silly he was being.

"Only because he loves them. It's very responsible of him for them, isn't he?" I tell her and she agrees profoundly.

"Kind of glad Blaine's not a girl though," she said, "if he's got a daughter, he'd never shut up like what he's doing with his sisters now."

I find myself agreeing with Jay. When Jay hears Fizzy's annoyed screaming, the two of us got off the couch laughing as we went to the backyard.

"Swear, this has happened before." Jay tells me. That's when the three of them notice our presence.

I take in their appearances. Lottie looks like she's been laughing all these time, Louis looks slightly pissed off and annoyed while Fizzy looks like she could kill someone just by looking at them.

Louis starts grumbling and joking around while Fizzy starts to get more pissed off. I cut him off, "I think your sister's old enough to know what you're already telling her, Lou." I say flatly, earning me an eye roll.

"See?" Lottie butts in. "He never listens to you, doesn't he?" she asks me, making me smirk. It's clear whose side Lottie is on.

"Sometimes he doesn't." I say but it was barely audible. Louis heard it though. His smirk is evident and he shakes his head in disapproval. Of course I'd mock him by doing the same thing just to add fuel to the fire.

"But she's right -"

"most of the time but not always." Louis cuts her off, making Lottie and I laugh.

"Yeah, you should definitely listen to your wife, y'know." Fizzy says then walks back into the house without saying anything else. Lottie giggles and follows her in. Jay tells us she's got some work to do and retreats back into the house.

I walk over to Louis who gave me a mock stern look. "You're not always right, you know." he says but the amusement is clearly spoken in his words.

"Your sisters think otherwise." I tell him, clearly to pester him off even more.

"They don't know what they're thinking, they're children." he scoffs and rolls his eyes.

"They were children." I correct him. I grasp his hand and squeeze it gently. "let them grow up. They're gonna hate you if you don't." I tell him and kiss him on the cheek softly. He smiles and pulls me to his chest.

"Few hours ago, you were ranting about how Emily was out drinking and how you miss the 10 yea old Em, now you're telling me to let my sisters grow up?" he says.

"That's different. I was sentimental but I never said I didn't want Em to grow up." I say, making him laugh like that's not a good enough reason. I dont say anything more, though.

We went back inside the house to say goodbye to everyone since it was getting a bit late then I buckled Blaine in his car seat. "Are we going home?" he asks me.

"Yes, baby, we're going home." I tell him. I turn around to see Louis still talking to his mum, looking annoyed and pissed off. You can tell the way he wants to pull all his hair off.
