LETS TALK ABOUT LOUIS TOMLINSON IN THE AUTHORS NOTE :)

50

= MEG'S POV =

A lot of things were running through my head when we were on our way to the Forest of Dean. For one thing, things happened there. When we reached the forest, I felt an uncomfortable tug in my chest.

Last time I went here, I was with my family. This time, I'm here for work and it does not feel right.

I've never thought it would be this lonely to be out in the forest. Last time we were here, it was summer holiday. I can't believe that was only a few months ago and a lot has changed. Last summer, I never expected any of these to happen, honestly.

Like I never expected Louis and I to drift apart. I deny it more than I admit that Louis and I slowly drifting apart. I believe we're both in denial for the kids' sake. If something happens to our relationship, the kids are caught right in the middle.

It's going to hurt them.

And I'll never forgive myself if I do.

Another is I never thought we'd be expecting another baby. Having her taken away from us is another story. Sure it's been a month but this is something I'd have to remember for the rest of my life. Just thinking about it now makes my eyes water.

The first night we spent in the forest was something different. It's a different experience than having to fall asleep with someone calling for you when you're half conscious, asking for help with their homework. And waking up, not making breakfast for six people is another story.

"Morning." I turned around and saw Alice approach me. "Slept well last night?" She asks me.

I wrap my fingers around my mug to warm my hands. "I slept very well that it's unusual." I tell her. "So we start filming today?" I ask her and she nods.

"Guess who's coming to the set today." She tells me. I give her a look and she smiles. "Vlad Corwin. Vlad's coming on set."

I can't help but laugh. It's not funny but it doesn't make sense why he'd have to be on set that it's laughable. "What's he here for?" I ask, taking a sip of my tea.

Alice shrugs and does the same. "I hear he's got a supporting role in the short film. We'll never know until this morning." She tells me. "You two used to be friends, right?"

I chuckled and shrugged. "Some time, yes, we were..."

Our conversation was cut short when our producer came running out the trailer and telling us shooting starts in half an hour. Alice and I are staying in the same trailer with two more women so when we got there it was a little hectic.

Two of them are mothers as well. They've spent all night talking to their kids and went emotional as they hung up. I've only talked to Summer last night and she told me how nervous she was for Parents Evening tonight.

This is the first time I'm not attending Parents' Evening for them and it feels odd. I kind of feel like I'm letting them down. I have my trust in Louis that he's attending for the both of us. We haven't attended a Parents' Evening together in three years.

"Meg," Alice calls me as I've completely spaced out again. "We're needed down by the lake." She tells me.

I got up and followed her down our trailer. It's a short walk from our trailer to the lake. From the steps, we can see the camera crew setting up in one side and the tent on the other. Some devices and cranes are being brought in and the casts are being prepared by the make up artists in their trailer.
