JJ Maybank's POV. (Three days later)

"JJ? Where are you going?" Kie got up from the sofa bed, she'd been staying round, her parents had been giving her hell or something.
"I'm going out to look for her" I shrug, everyone thought she'd just turn up but if she didn't then what? I had to find her.
"Ok. I'll come with you-" Kie got her jumper and I groan, to be honest I'd rather her go with Pope.

I wanted to be alone.
Hurrying ahead of her, I walk into the woods, she could be hiding out here.
"JJ wait up" Kie did a little jog to catch up with me, this is exactly why I wanted to go by myself.
"Lexi?!" I shout, almost hoping she'd answer, yet I knew she wouldn't.
"JJ- you haven't gone to work and you've been out here for three days straight looking. I know-" the girl placed her hand on my shoulder, I shove away from her touch.

"No you don't know! She ran away because we made her run! If something happens to her it's on us! It's on me!" My whole body shook with anger and frustration as she just stood there.
"Lexi's been through a lot. She's strong. She'll come through like she always does. She goes missing and turns up. She's done this before" Kie's voice was soft but I couldn't help but hear a tint of annoyance in it.

"This isn't like her Kook year! She isn't partying with Kooks and then just turns up. This hasn't happened before! We need to find her, with or without you" turning round I storm through the woods.
"Lexi?!" I yell again, walking up to the same tree I've been leaving food and water at for the past three days.
Just in case she's out here.

"We need to go to the police" Kie looked down at the food and water I had left, none of it touched.
"They already know. They're looking for her" I shrug a little, maybe I needed to look somewhere different.

A few days later.

"JJ?! Open the door!" Pope and Kie were banging on the porch door, I was about to go out and look again.
"JJ! You need to stop this!" Pope yelled through the door, I rip it open pushing him.
"Your acting like she never existed! Like she'll just turn up! Lexi can be stubborn but she would've turned up by now! It's been nearly a week!" Both of them look at me like I've lost the plot, like it isn't normal to go looking for our friend.

"You quit your job JJ" Kie spoke quietly and I shrug a little "so? I didn't enjoy it anyway" sniffing slightly Pope shakes his head.
"That isn't the point. You need that money JJ" he stepped forward slightly.
"It can wait! Lexi needs us! Why don't you care?!" I couldn't help but grab Pope by the collar making Kie slap my arm to let go.
"We do! We've been looking everyday! Just like you! But you- your dropping everything in the process" Pope grabbed my wrists as my grip tightens on his collar.

"We know how you felt about her! We know why it's different for you!" Kie shouted at the top of her lungs, I dropped Pope instantly.
"I know her. She'd turn up by now" my voice cracked a little, holding the strap of my backpack tighter, I walk away from them both.
"Have you even signed up to some more classes JJ?! Your ignoring everyone around you! School starts soon" Pope stormed after me, pleading with me.

"School? That's what your thinking about right now? Wow" shaking my head from side to side I speed up, jumping on my bike.
"JJ!" Kie shouted at me as I speed off towards figure eight.
I was going to speak to Lexi's parents, if they know anything different.

Alexia Trent's POV

Opening my eyes slowly, I start to see a blue tinted room. It was dark, with only one window which looked locked.
Squinting my eyes I notice the room was more like a basement.
I try get up but fall as soon as I walk to far, looking back I see my ankle chained to the bed which was concreted into the floor, my breathing picked up as my eyes dart around the room looking for a weapon or anything I could use against my attacker.
